flyjam 1 Posted September 22, 2010 start: 1 qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, 1 te, 1 flex qb: alex smith, chad henne rb: gore, forte, mccoy, lynch wr: wayne, ochocinco, floyd, demaryius thomas, derrick mason te: carlson so drafting the great kevin kolb has me in this predicament. would you deal floyd, who on this roster will mainly be used as a bye-week fill-in, for an actual potential answer at qb in mcnabb? i'm thinking it may be a good idea and that d. thomas and mason can pick up the slack, but i'm not sure. interested in seeing some opinions. leave your link, will help you out. madd futher mucker 36 Posted September 22, 2010 I'd offer D. Thomas for McNabb before I'd part with Floyd. IMO that would be the "sell high" shark move here.
flyjam 1 Posted September 22, 2010 i did indeed try that, no dice. also potentially on the table is mcnabb and breaston for floyd and mason, which helps out my week 8 situation (decimated by byes including mason). i guess that comes down to whether you like mason or breaston more, but i'd also like to see some thoughts on that. so to summarize, 1. stand pat 2. get mcnabb for floyd 3. get mcnabb and breaston for floyd and mason
Hitman49er 0 Posted September 22, 2010 I am in a similar situation (kolb) and own D. Thomas. I would try the floyd for mcnabb trade. Mason and Thomas are decent to good 3rd WR. I too have Alex Smith. Waiting it out might be the best move if Smith takes steps forward. Really tough call.
