Miami Dolphins 0 Posted May 11, 2011 We're a 32 team Salary Cap/Contract League entering our third year. We have a 40 player active roster limit, plus a 6 man Practice Squad, and Injured Reserve (roster limit suspended during the off-season until just after the NFL's final cut-down day). We basically mimic the NFL as closely as we can within the 16 weeks (12 week regular season, then NFL format playoffs and Super Bowl). We use Proboards for league management and Fantrax for scoring and standings. This is a well run league with year round activity. Restricted Free Agency bidding opens up shortly followed by Unrestricted Free Agency and then a 4 round rookie draft. The available team is the Chargers who have at least half their cap space available, and this year's Free Agency crop is HUGE. With a little imagination and some well spent $, this team could be back in the playoffs. An added bonus is that due to the large # of Free Agents the Chargers lost this season, they should be in line for several "Compensatory" draft picks in addition to their current rookie draft picks. It's a rebuilding effort, but the Skins have Andre Johnson locked up through 2014, and the 5th overall pick in the rookie draft. Not sure what happened, he just disappeared. Anyway,the Oakland Raiders are available and have a very solid team. Let me know if your interested. It's a very active and challenging league.
