tonka2 0 Posted August 27, 2011 So, I have the 8th pick in a PPR dynasty draft and the first 7 picks went as follows FOSTER RICE PETERSON CHARLES CJ MCCOY MEGATRON ...and with the 8th pick I selected Andre Johnson...what are your thoughts. It was really hard for me to get myself to draft a QB (which would have been rodgers) in the first round as QBs are not penalized for INTs, so value can be found in later rounds i thought. Rodgers would have been a staple for years but like I said, I really like the value in later rounds. I really wanted to take McFadden in this spot with his age (just turned 24 today) being a benefit as well as a decent upside but with him quasi sharing carries in OAK, i felt that the 8th pick was too early to select him. So it was ultimately take the best player available which in my mind was Andre, even though his age, 30, could become an issue in a not so near future.... feedback please...what would you have done in my spot Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
gridironwhirlwinds 0 Posted August 27, 2011 Too old for my liking in a dyanasty keeper league.....get as close as you can in value to him at like age 23-25.....that is my theory.
