CapsFan1 0 Posted September 22, 2011 I am a Stafford owner and I would have to think long and hard about this. In the end I would probably make the trade and take the safer established Brees. This could be a magical season for Stafford and I knew about the injury risks when I picked him but it scares the hell out of me that everytime the camera is on him after a play he seems to be wincing or in pain. j0ker 3 Posted September 22, 2011 Both are on average going to go for 300+ and 3td's. Both teams running games are finally coming around which if it affects either one should be minimal. So it comes down to who has better weapons and who is likely to stay healthy longer and in that I lean towards Brees. Yes the Lions are playing great but it's mostly been the Calvin Johnson show and if he gets hurt or shutdown will Stafford still be as great? Brees has lost Colston and hasn't missed a beat just too many weapons in New Orleans.
