Intangible factors and making line up decisions

Recommended Posts

Example: starting LT over Shonn Grrene (in a ppr) because he is playing the Chargers for the 1st time. (no need to discuss that specific play, I've made up my mind and don't want this to come off as a WSIS thread).

I often start prima donna types in prime time games as well.

Anyone else take intangible factor like this into consideration when making line up decisions?

These types of factors only affect the outcomes at the margins, ie, it's SUCH a close call that this outlandish factor or that determines the play.

Play your best player every week, regardless of matchup, and it is usually the right decision.
