Jonathan Stewart or CJ Spiller?

Recommended Posts

Tough spot this week, down 30 having faced Stafford and Laurent Robinson on Thanksgiving. I had Kevin Smith and Witten. Half-point per reception league. Lost Fred Jackson and picked up Smith to offset the loss. Of course he's hurt now, so I can't afford any lineup mistakes here. Who should I flex, Stewart at Indy or Spiller at NYJ?

Stewart is #3 back (behind Cam and DeWill) while Spiller is the clear #1 for this game and receiving the most touches. Spiller has. MUCH bigger upside.

In PPR Stewart is the number 2 in my opinion.

I'd go with Spiller. The Jets are much better against the run lately than they were early in the year, but Spiller is going to get a lot of opportunities as a receiver out of the backfield. They kept FJax in check a few weeks ago, so I expect they'll keep Spiller in check as well, so this is not a slam dunk. Neither is a great play.

I would play Stewart and I really don't think it's that close

Spiller hasn't shown any signs of being a comprable back and has a tough matchup this week.

Stewart on the other hand has a great matchup and has played well this year. For now I trust Stewart much more than Spiller.
