Just Traded for MJD. Dunce?

I struck a deal with an uneasy MJD owner, both of us being in a 10 team standard ESPN league. I gave him Wes Welker and CJ Spiller for Jones-Drew. Obviously we'll know more when he does or doesn't report on Saturday, but which side benefited more? Keep in mind that the trade sent CJ Spiller to a Fred Jackson owner and MJD to a Rashad Jennings owner. Below are the rosters AFTER the trade. Who won?

I think you lost. No need to look at the team makeups. Even if mjd reports he is in for a miserable year. See Chris Johnson last year. Jennings could be a nice find.

Sorry but I'd have to say you lost. Holdout RBs are bad, bad news. I've been burned by them SO many times. Chris Johnson last year was the last straw. I'll never trust an RB coming off an extended holdout again.

 

On top of that you gave up one of the best WRs around and left yourself really iffy at WR while your trade partner is now STACKED 4 or 5 guys deep. Personally, I like Malcom Floyd to have a big year but that's no guarantee.

I also think you lost because of the risk involved. If MJD has a good year, then I think it was pretty even. You had Jennings so I would have kept Welker and hoped to God MJD never signs or gets injured, then you would have had a starting RB in Jennings and still had Welker. You should have requested Nate Washington or Antonio Brown as well as MJD. Although, I wouldn't have made this move either way.
