GAINING: Chris Johnson, Andre Johnson

GIVING: Trent Richardson

 

I would love to have another week of data, since the offer will be valid until Sunday night barring the proposer taking off the table. Should I pull the trigger now or risk the offer being rescinded by waiting?

Uh, no. Andre is getting older and is in a truly run first offense. CJ.2K looks tentative and overpaid. Trent, on the other hand, is r i d i c u l o u s. I'd keep him and roll.

 

Disclaimer: without seeing the rest of your line up, this is JMHO. If you need help at WR or can afford to give up Trent, then the case could be different.

yes, of course do it. i don't think CJ2K is dead quite yet and TR isn't all that. i think, assuming you're not loaded at WR, and you have decent RB depth, you do this trade

First of all, thank you for responding to my post. With regard to your situation, I think you gain tremendously at WR (yes, Andre is getting older, but he is also getting progressively healthier); however, CJ2k (don't even think we can call him that anymore) is TOAST! So, you lose big at RB, as Trent is going to be a beast.

 

Does the other owner have another RB he might be willing to include in the deal?

 

If he doesn't, keep Trent and improve your WR Corps through the waiver wire. We have already seen guys improve their value at that position (Amendola, etc.)....and, who knows, Jerome Simpson might be sitting there for the taking.
