notbad 0 Posted October 23, 2012 I've been holding onto B. Pettigrew since the start of the season but I think I'm ready to give up on him. He's had one TD in six games. He's averaging 5 pts a game (PPR league) only because he had a decent first two weeks; he's been limping along ever since. His numbers are going down. Here we are at Wk 8 - is it finally time to let him go? I picked up J. Gresham when Pettigrew was having knee problems but Gresham hasn't performed much better. Should I grab a hot Wk 8 waiver pick like J. Keller and drop one of these guys? If so, which one do I hold onto: Pettigrew or Gresham? EDIT: I should add that the TE pickings are getting slim in my league. Some of the other top, available TEs are G. Olsen, B. Myers, T. Scheffler, J. Dreessen... My lineup: QB: A. Rodgers, J. Flacco RB: D. Murray, M. Forte, D. Sproles, C. Spiller WR: M. Colston, S. Johnson, L. Moore, J. Jones, A. Roberts TE: B. Pettigrew, J. Gresham DST: Cardinals K: L. Tynes, M. Bryant Pettigrew should be the way to go in a ppr, but Stafford is stinking it up and Scheffler is back in the mix. I kinda like Greg Olsen, but Cam isnt doing much better than Stafford. Stick with what you've got and keep an eye on Olsen/Cam Newton.
