Trading away Romo, which trade to go for?

I was prepared to drop Patterson this week since I have Brown, Garcon, Hopkins and Wright but decided to package him with Romo to see if I could get any deals in my 12 team PPR league. The Alshon Jeffery owner is interested, and even though it isn't a good trade for me on paper, Patterson is useless to me at this point and Romo is surplus to requirements too.

The other trade is Romo for Jeremy Hill and Vereen/Hawkins/Terrance Williams (DAL). I own Gio in this league but I am already rostering Polk as my handcuff to Shady so I don't want to take up two bench spots with hand cuffs even though Hill is a valuable flex play on his own. I don't think I would play Gio and Hill together very often though.

Should I try to bolster my WR core to Brown, Jeffery, and Garcon in my flex or go for the RB depth with Hill and Vereen even though they would probably never play for me unless Gio goes down?
