Diesel07 0 Posted September 12, 2004 Whew, talk about a close one! Im glad i made that trade before today because a Charles Rogers replacement would of cost me an arm and a leg...except if the offers from Munchie I was targeting Gardner in the draft, but the automated pick by the computer messed some thing up, but im glad i got him. I think he'll flourish in the new system with Coles drawing all the doubleteam Im bored today and dont have cable, so im relegated to sitting on this pooter checking the scores, making all kinds of new post like this one
vlade21 0 Posted September 12, 2004 Dawkins had 5 tackles early on but hasn't had one lately. I don't especially like trading WRs, especially after the Boldin trade last year, but I went for it anyway because I considered Gardner my 6th WR and I had Dawkins ranked 3rd among DBs and I liked the idea of starting 2 DBs that I think are bona fide studs each week. With Rogers going down, the trade does seem to help you more than it helps me. But we'll see as to whether Gardner produces like he did today when you actually start him. If Gardner turns out to have a great year I won't sweat it. Just as long as Dawkins produces, that's what I'm looking for.
