Gotta admit, I really didn't think he would even be a consideration this season, after the achilles tear last year.....but he caught my attention in the week 4 preseason game the other night. Yes, he was probably playing against the Giants custodial staff, but went 8 of 9 for 87 yards and 2 TD's. It wasn't his stats that impressed me though, it was how sharp he looked coming in and out of cuts, and how healthy and motivated he looked.
Gordon played the same amount of drives and went 2 of 6 for 30 yards. We all know the hesitancy with Gordon, being a head-case and all, but with Gronk outta town, Edelman being entrenched in his role, Brady still slinging the rock, and the mad-genius Belicheck at the helm....stranger things have happened.
31 years old, healthy and well rested, a huge red zone target, on a fantastic team, and a proven commodity.....a guy might wanna snatch him up. Won't cost you a cent.
