How to play: Select for every matchup the winner against the spread In a spread scoring system, the "winning pick" is the team with the higher number of points after the listed "Spread" for that game is subtracted from the number of points the "Favorite" actually scores (i.e. "covering the spread"). In some cases, this will mean that the "winning spread pick" will not actually be the team that wins the game because they did not defeat their opponent by enough points to cover the spread.
