I think that is a bad idea and contrary to your position of "you should've expected this" about the draft that you screeched at me the other day. Let him take all the time in the world and continue to be a little be-otch. I believe he s actually doing this on purpose at this point. So, we'll just sit around and wait until stick feels it is necessary to check on the draft. After all, who are we to interrupt his napping/masturbation schedule TB, this league blows anyhow, lets just see how low we can let it go....wait for him to make his own pick

So I guess we are waiting? Smitty - you raise a good point, but I think Tarheel was trying to appease league frustration. Also ~stick was warned yesterday. However, if we want to wait then I guess we will wait.

 

BTW I do not think the league sucks. Once the draft is over and the season starts it should be fun

It's either we wait or skip him. I don't think we should necessarily pick for him though. I can wait. Whoever goes on vacation, just please send picks for you last round (or 2) so we can finish this up.

 

~stick: I really don't think anyone wants to be mad at you or anything, but I think we're all wondering why you couldn't email anyone a list so that when you're away from the computer we could pick for you. That's what the rest of us have done all along and it really helped move the draft along...

Fine, we'll wait on him then. I was more annoyed than anything last night that it does appear he's doing this on purpose. Smitty, I know (or at least I think I know) you were just kidding when you said this league blows. If you're really that frustrated with how it's going then all I can say is hand your team over to someone else. The first few times people were saying this league sucked it was pretty funny because I knew they were kidding. However it's starting to become a little tiresome and you've been one of the main people b!tching about the slowness of the draft. I think part of your comment did have some seriousness to it. All I'm trying to do is get this thing done in the best way possible. If you don't like how I'm doing things then ask someone else to take over your team. I'm wanting this league to be fun but the last week all the b!tching (not just you but everyone in general) has really become a pain in the ass.

You can't say the league sucks or blows, it hasn't even started yet. All on-line drafts have problems like this. 16 people with different lives, schedules and priorities. It IS expected, but that does not alleviate the frustration.

 

TBoy, so it looks like one of my picks is still there? It's hard to tell since I've had a total of 3 minutes on the computer the last 2 days.

I understand what you're saying TB. I apologize for complaining. I don't intend to hand over my team to anyone and as Canio said, this league will be a lot of fun. ~stick has just really been driving me crazy. How hard is it to send in a friggin list? I am involved in 10 hours a day of corporate training and still find time to log on and check draft status. THis kid can't take a few minutes out of his day to show a little common courtesy? Jeesh. Anyhow, enuf b1tching. I think we'll all just play it cool but let's make a real effort to get this friggin draft done by tomorrow. It shouldn't be that hard.

My whole reasoning for putting out this thread was really because I think ~stick was doing this on purpose based on what happened yesterday. If this would have been the first time for him to take so long I would have said it was no big deal. However, it's pretty obvious his intentions. I know it's frustrating what has transpired over the last week. Anyhow, sorry for letting off some steam.
