Guest t.j Posted June 21, 2001 I have decided not to try to start a run on defenses despite the allure of the almighty Ravens D because of Canio6 opening his yapper about the scoring system.
Guest bigbadbuff Posted June 21, 2001 that's some crap too. I got a assload of points off that Ravens D last year. I can remember getting in the 30's a few times when they pitched shutouts and caused some tunrovers
Guest hoffdaddy Posted June 21, 2001 Well, debated a bunch of different ways to go, but decided on Walls. His Qb situation scares me, but we know what he's capable of. Hopefully it works out. Guest bigbadbuff Posted June 21, 2001 I had Walls in both 99 and 00 in most of my leagues and while I didn't enjoy it last year I loved every minute in 99. I would be scared of the QB situation too, but Walls is so talented there is no way he won't be a big part of the offense. Cross your fingers he gets some looks this year- if he does he's back to being a top 3 TE. Wait a minute, I could have SWORN he retired when he got hurt last year- he "unretired" I assume? Guest RK Posted June 21, 2001 Nice to see you guys finally got your butts in gear and made some progress. I know I won't come up tonight, so I'll pick in the AM.... I hope....
Guest Canio6 Posted June 21, 2001 Nice pick on Walls hoffdaddy. If he returns to form this could be a steal. I shouldn't have said anything about defense but it almost isn't even worth having in the league. It is like offensive scoring with points for only rushing TDs, passing yards, and extra points. Where are the other stats?
Guest t.j Posted June 21, 2001 When I realized I was probably going to pick Brunell with my 6th rounder I regretted taking Brady over Walls with the 5th rounder. But who knows, maybe it will pay off.
Guest t.j Posted June 21, 2001 After round 5 the Broncos led the way with 5 players drafted, and the Browns have the honor of being the only team with no players drafted.

Guest The Unknown Soldier Posted June 22, 2001 I wanted both of hoffdaddy's picks, so I had to pick up the next highest rated te on my board. Riemersma had 5 td's in 12 games and was playing hurt for some of those. If he wasn't so prone to injury, I would've had him rated even higher. Hopefully he'll be Rob's release valve when pansy-boy thinks he's gonna get hurt and needs to dump it off...
Guest BroncosFan Posted June 22, 2001 I really struggled with this pick. I really didn't want to go with a TE but I couldn't decide between about 3 or 4 other choices. Hopefully at least one of those guys makes it back to me and then I won't feel so bad. Dilger won't win me games at TE but he shouldn't lose any either. He was the 7th best TE last year so hopefully he'll do about the same.
Guest Scooby Posted June 22, 2001 Let the ribbing begin for this pick from me...But a rb that had 88 catched and over 800 yards receiving, I could not pass him up..Besides, everytime I wait for the next round, some bastage picks him in front of me....
Guest Canio6 Posted June 22, 2001 Dilgersis a decent pick. Scooby - nice pick up on Anderson. If he catches as many passes as he did lasst year he is money.
Guest The Unknown Soldier Posted June 22, 2001 With the points for receptions, that was a smart pick Scoob! BF, I may have had a couple of TE's rated higher, but you can really never go wrong with someone that has Manning throwing to them...
Guest Tarheel Boy Posted June 22, 2001 It took me a while to decide on my pick. I know Alstott is Mr. Fumbles but I think he's a good RB to have for a bye week.
Guest Ditkanate Posted June 22, 2001 Hey, i'm looking at rosters and stuff and i'm just wondering how come it appears that my team sucks? Who are these players and why do i keep picking them? BTW a guy in my league just droped Sylvester Moris, should I pick him up? Also I just picked up Barry Sanders is there any news on when he is coming out of retirement? He was pretty good last season!

Good idea, but I think I would need a receiver back too. I hear Micheal Irving is a stud.
Guest The Unknown Soldier Posted June 22, 2001 Damn TR, I was hoping Barlow might make it back around to me.
Guest kariya9 Posted June 22, 2001 Excellent pick TR. Watching Barlow play for years at the University of Pittsburgh, I can tell you he's a hard worker and he could do some big things in that west coast offense.
Guest Ditkanate Posted June 22, 2001 i am wondering why i fail to pick people that i think i should pick like Barlow and instead pick people that i know i should not pick like Terrell it is a good tip not to join crappy leagues and draft terrible players and not have starting RB's! Guest Smitty Posted June 22, 2001 Changed my pick. FU guys, I didn't know that he had already picked twice! Sorry for the dealy, I was manipulating my censor in the office bathroom...

I like Mason, but in this league half his yards are going to waste since you only score on special teams if you get a td... Still he should be pretty good in an average passing offense... Guest Smitty Posted June 22, 2001 Seeing as how Mason is WR1 on the Titans and finished last season with 63 Rec and 895 yards while only starting about 9 games, I like his chances to post 70-75 Rec and 1000-1100 yards this year with about 6-8 TDs. He really came on after being inserted into the starting lineup plus he gets to play CLE/CIN twice this year.
Guest Tusekan Raiders Posted June 22, 2001 I would have taken Bledsoe if he was available. I actually thought about taking Dayne to make my RB situation a little safer, but then I remembered he sucked ass and his dimensions (too short by too wide) will prevent him from improving. Barlow is a big, fast boy and that is good. Supposedly Denver was high on him too, and they seem to know RBs that are good in the draft. I don't see a hollywood ending for the Garrison Hearst story, so I like Kev.
Guest Canio6 Posted June 22, 2001 Well, Smitty took who I wanted, but I needed a receiver from somewhere. Thrash is #1 in Philly so maybe he will pull something out of his a$$. Hopefully that something is 1,000 yards and 7 TDs
Guest Ditkanate Posted June 22, 2001 hopefully you are right celerio because i have the man throwing him the ball and that would be good if someone would catch it sometimes thanks.
