I agree that Emmitt was the best back on the board at that point.

One thing I think that has been overlooked, and since all the rbs that this would truly affect are gone, I'll go ahead and point it out. RBs like Faulk Edge Duce and Tiki could be huge in this league with the 1 point per reception rule. Edge could get 10 catches a game easy IMO.

Whoa there partner. I've got my own personal swollen brat for Moulds. He was easily the best WR left in a league where the best ones score like RBs. The only factor here is there might have been a small chance I may have be willing to try to get him on the rebound if anyone but you had 2 picks in front of me. However, all things considered, there was only 1 WR on the teams in front of me, and all but 1 team had at least one back. There were 6 RBs I viewed pretty closely and 7 open RB slots in front of me. It made sense for me to get the WR I wanted with that pick anyway.

Besides, everyone knows you are a Bills homer.

Actually, it remotely helps strengthen your strategy. Still not one I'd espouse, but it looks like there is a lot of RBBCs out there and if you lock into this years Richie Anderson, he can be more valuable than some of the RBs left who will have a lot of 50 yard, no TD days.

Wow! 160 Receptions in a season would be some kind of record! Edge will be good for 4-5 catches per game doofus.

Well, I can log in, for now, but I didn't realize how long it was until I draft. I'll just check back in later then.

I know, can you believe it? I've watched 21 picks go by since I last drafted, and there are still 7 more before my pick!

Yeah, I've never been in a league this large w/o flex positions and it'll probably show. This season will be a real eye-opener...

Damn, those RBs are about picked clean. Looks like RBBC time- and nothing worth spending a third rounder on. Though I was this close to reaching, just so I'd know I had 2 RBs...

What the hell, if I can't have a top-ten RB, then I might as well have 2 top-ten WRs (at least I had Horn at 10). Probably should have gone QB, but there's still quite a bit out there. I'll definitely second-guess myself on this pick- in fact, I already am.

Though I am in desperate need of another rb, Joe Horn is someone that I wouldn't have been able to pass up either. Pair him with Moss, with receptions 1 pt apiece, and you'll outscore some rb combos.

Horn was the next WR on my list. Good pick imo.

Damn Ulick took my pick... mad.gif

May be a reach with Boston, but he put up solid numbers last year and should only get better...I hope. Figured I would go WR again with no decent rb's left tat warrented a 3rd round pick.....

I had my eyes set on Horn but that didn't work out. This was a tough pick for me because 1. I'm not a Tim Brown fan 2. There are other guys with more talent and potential but they have too many question marks 3. I hate the Raiders

In round 1 I was sweating out the last several choices that Curtis Martin would be stolen from me. This round was the same with Wheatley. I am stoked he dropped to me for a couple reasons:

1. His job security is more defined than any back left in the draft. He is the Raiders' starter. And the Raiders will run the ball and score touchdowns.

2. He will be the Raiders goal-line guy. If there's one thing about the Raiders' RBBC it's that Garner won't practice in goal-line situations and therefore he will never play in them.

3. He has potential to increase his production from last year. First off he only played 13.5 games last year. Secondly, the Raiders blew so many teams out last season that Wheatley often would come out and Crockett would come in. Last year Crockett and Jordan combined for 10 rushing touchdowns. I think whatever extra Garner takes away between the 20s, Wheatley will play that much more inside the 20s. Especially since the Raiders' home schedule is tougher and they don't figure to have the luxury of keeping him healthy on the sidelines in the second half of a lot of blowouts like last year.

4. If there's one thing I maybe know better about Wheatley than you guys do as a Raiders fan, it's that he is one of the toughest motherf***ers in the league and he will play unless he literally cannot run.

5. If Garner gets hurt he will carry even more of the load.

P.S. I think Boston was a better pick than Horn

I like both him and Garner to get good stats, though neither dominating in FF terms. If either went down with an injury, the other would have a dominating FF season though. That said, I took Garner because of his receiving ability more than anything. Wheatley is a great, tough player, but his numbers should go down since Garner is heads above what Kaufman gave to the Raydazz offense. Once they realize this, they won't sit Garner all the time like they had to do to Kaufman. They didn't pay Garner all that money to sit on the bench anyways...

I think both will have a fine season. I'd be psyched to be a Raydazz fan.

(I'm sure I was spelling Kaufman wrong here)

You're just mad because instead of realizing all that stuff and taking Wheatley, you choked and took Priest "I'm gonna split 50/50 with Richardson and not get the goal line carries" Holmes, like all the cheatsheets told you to.
