Guest RK Posted June 25, 2001 Well, my weak position has Price, Mathis, Wayne and Gardner. Something good is gonna happen. I can feel it! I knew when I took R. Johnson, McAllister and Thomas, that I was screwing myself at WR. But I think I ended up with pretty good odds here that one of these guys will do very well. Price is in his magical 3rd year. He's shown improvement each year so far. Mathis should benefit from Chandler's (BTW, good pick Smitty) ability to stay healthy and do well when he has a reason to (Vick). Wayne, should be the #2 opposite a double teamed #1 guy with a great QB. Gardner is in a great position to be #2 with a great passing QB.
Guest Tusekan Raiders Posted June 25, 2001 I like Wayne and Gardener better than Mathis and Price. I was hoping one of those two would last a bit longer. Despite being rookies, those two are in good situations. Depending on your confidence in Hasselback, maybe better than K.Rob.

Yeah, but both Wayne and Gardener are rookie WRs who aren't slated to start at the beginning of the season, so it's not likely either will be a stud WR this year. Guest Ditkanate Posted June 26, 2001 Ok, i admit it. I have no idea who Doug Chapman is. This can't be a good sign for me.
Guest t.j Posted June 26, 2001 Isn't it nice how fast the draft can move when people don't leave for long periods of time when their pick is up?

Anyway, he plays for the Vikings and he had the inside edge of the starting running back slot whenever Robert Smith retired.......they of course drafted Bennett.....but Chapman is an excellent choice because he'll get some carries and that number depends on how good or bad Bennett is doing. Guest Tusekan Raiders Posted June 26, 2001 I was kind of surprised Jasper let him slide so long and figured no way he would again. My D and kicker will suck, but I never thought he'd last this long.
Guest Scooby Posted June 26, 2001 I added to the pace with 2 picks in a row...

Guest Tusekan Raiders Posted June 26, 2001 Nice pick of Jack Green. He was the other guy I was considering. He may benefit most from Brad's arrival in TB. Too bad you waited until Round 11 to make a good pick
Guest The Unknown Soldier Posted June 26, 2001 Another very solid pick. One of the top wr's left on my board. I think he'll surprise. Good one pamphlet-pusher!
