I'll change some of the defensive scoring rules so Ditka won't

 

Some general questions:

 

1. Keep or get rid of the 1 PT per reception rule?

 

2. Dynasty league or redraft? (Dynasty league wouldn't be started until next year)

 

3. Leave starting requirements the same or change to no TE but 3 WR's or a flex position?

 

4. Change the FA policy or leave the same?

 

Any other ideas?

Sure. Why not. This has been the worst league ever... so why quit now?

 

Defensive scoring should include sacks and safeties IMO... but whatever floats your boat.

 

The reception rule is fine by me... helps with the depleted # of RB's to increase the value of those 3rd down backs and etc.

 

I'm already in a dynasty... so i'd prefer redraft. But whatever.

 

Starting requirements don't bother me.

 

Definitely should use CBS built-in waiver system instead of FCFS.

I'm down. Point-per-reception is a definite keep, and it doesn't matter to me if we go dynasty or redraft. I am partial to 3 WRs and no TEs since I have 3 top-15 WRs on my team this year and keep picking the wrong ones to start and didn't draft Gonzo in the first round, but that's probably just some situational ethics talking. FCFS FAs sucks though- I'd definitely change it. The D scoring as well. Otherwise, it's all good. Aren't there quite a few dead teams though?

1. Yes I would like in again.

2. Sacks counting as 1 pt each would be nice.

4. I actually would be interested in starting a dynasty next year, but a redraft is fine if the majority is opposed.

5. I would like a waiver system that in based on pts. (ie high pts picks #16 to start and low pts picks #1 to start off)

3. As many times as I have gotten an advantage with FCFS free agency, I really have to say that it should be revised according to CBS guidlines.

 

4. I wouldn't mind taking out the TE requirement from our starting lineups but I will go along with whatever the majority decides.

 

5. Dynasty league format would be great, but I feel that we will most likely lose quite a few teams before then. It may turn out that the only fair thing to do at that point is to redraft.

I suck in this league, but I'd be in again for dynasty or redraft.

 

Any starting requirements are fine (whether we take out the TE and add a TE/WR or whatever). Just an idea, in another league we can choose whether or not to start 2 rb/3 wr or 1 rb/4 wr. Dunno if any are opposed to a flex system like that, but it would really help in such a rb-diluted league such as this...

 

Defensive scoring should be changed as well as waiver wire system.

 

Keep 1 pt per reception.

Ok, looks like everyone wants to keep the 1 pt per reception scoring so that will stay in place. The defensive scoring will obviously be changed and the FA will be a priority system instead of FCFS. What I'll do is see if Mike will just let me keep this board during the offseason and we'll have any discussions related to the league throughout the offseason. Anything I come up with I'll bounce it off you guys to see if you like the ideas.

Yeah I already told pennken he can have my spot. I'm already in a 14 team keeper league and a 4th-year redraft league and it's too many leagues... I hate not being able to keep track of who has who on my opponent's teams. After I drop this league, if I'm going to join a 3rd league it will have to be something new like either a money league or a local league.
