PLEASE READ REGARDING WHAT TO DO WITH BBB'S ILLEGAL ROSTER

Recommended Posts

I didn't address this in the rules and I wish I would have but thought I wouldn't have needed to. I know I discussed if you didn't turn in a roster how that would be handled but not something like this even though it's basically the same thing. Anyhow, t.j has made a thread on this board and our website telling him to change his roster and he hasn't. Because of this his scoring is f'd up and here are my choices:

1.) Give him two losses because of repeated attempts to tell him to make his changes but he didn't.

2.) Remove the reserves that he picked via the draft.

Please vote.

I'd say #1. No legal roster = no win. I don't think dropping his players is the right thing to do really.

According to this post: http://www.fftodayforums.com/cgi-bin/ultim...ic&f=5&t=011876

he cannot access his account (and he says that he understands that his lineup won't count because it's illegal). Any way that you could change his lineup around for him if he still can't get on or is there a way that cbs can get him his password?

Sorry, I worded Option #2 wrong. What I meant to say was remove his reserves' scores for the week. I wonder what he keeps doing with his links? Unless he has other leagues via sportsline he should be able to access his team every time he logs on to the free fantasy site.

I can change his lineup for him next week, that's no problem. Sportsline should send him another password as long as he remembers his username.

I don't understand it either, but maybe he forgot his sportsline id and uses a different computer or has it so it doesn't remember his passwords.

Either way, if we can find out if his email is still valid and sportsline can send him a reminder, he should be able to go to the site and request a "lost password" or something. Either way, for next week maybe we can ask him (via Geek Club since I don't know if he checks this board) who he wants to sit/start so at least he'll have a legal lineup. That is, if he can't get his access restored for whatever reason.

Back to your original question(what to do about this week), who do you deem are his reserves? Since he's starting everyone you never know who he might have thought of starting. It may seem mean, but I don't see around him getting some losses...

What I did in my money league down here the first week was put a starting lineup for those that didn't do it themselves. I designated the starters based on who they picked first in the draft to fill all the positions. I think it would be easier to just give him two losses.

EDIT: I think you should do both 1 and 2. As mentioned, BBB said it wouldn't count ecause it's an illegal roster, but I see on the official scoring for week 1 it counted all his players so who's to say he won't get a win because of extra players in week 2?

If you can bench his reserves for him (the most recently aquired players at each position for him seems the best way to do it) that would be great. And I have to think there has got to be some way to send him a password reminder. If there's a way to sign him up for the league, there has to be a way to send him a reminder, right?

You can send him another invitation in Front Office to the league to give him the link again. If the problem is he lost his CBS password, people mentioned how to get it back, but if not, just make a new ID.

bbb, what's up dude? You could have at least posted it here. Unless there is some legit explanation, and I guess it will be TBoys job to determine what is legit, I'd have to vote for #1.

I sent him another link to the site about a week or so ago. He even said he got the link.
