Guest RK Posted June 21, 2001 I am surprised with: BBB not having a RB yet WRs being taken so early I know that WRs can be big with the per reception point, but I'm still surprised with 14 WRs going in the first 3 rounds. Especially with RBs being SOOOOO scarce in a 16 team league.
Guest Tusekan Raiders Posted June 21, 2001 I'm surprised this league has lasted a week.
Guest t.j Posted June 21, 2001 I am surprised by how long certain people are taking to make their picks!! -bbb taking a 2nd QB in the 3rd round I think was the biggest surprise -Watters 22nd overall surprised me -I think Gonzales in the first round surprised us all -Culpepper before Warner surprised me

Guest t.j Posted June 21, 2001 It wasn't a HUGE surprise to me. I certainly had Warner and Culpepper in a tier of their own. I was thinking that Warner was ahead of Culpepper before his injury but actually they were neck in neck (about 137 to 134 points in favor of Culpepper). I would still probably pick Warner for fear that the Vikings' difficult schedule is going to result in more INTs for Culpepper.

Well Daunte was taken before my pick but I still would have taken Warner. They both have some difficult defenses to face, but the clincher for me was that Warner's offense hasn't changed- they should still be a scoring machine, and now that Michael Bennett is in the backfield rather than Robert Smith, Ds are going to key in on Culpepper and Moss a LOT more until Bennett proves himself; who knows when that will be. Guest The Unknown Soldier Posted June 21, 2001 The run on wr's early. Bennett & Staley going higher than others I had. Horn dropping more than I thought he would. Ditka Gonzalez bbb's all wr spectacle. stick has a decent team.
Guest kariya9 Posted June 21, 2001 I took Culpepper because of the scoring system and the rushing tds. Warner is great and solid but Culpepper as unlimited upside as long as the offense keeps chugging along.......Denny Green will make it work......always has.....always will.
