What do you think?

Recommended Posts

My team before trades:

T. Brady (NE - QB)

J. Delhomme (CAR - QB)

M. Hasselbeck (SEA - QB)

W. Parker (PIT - RB)

Larry Johnson (KC-RB)

M. Moore (MIN - RB)

R. Moats ( PHI-RB)

T. Houshmandzadeh (CIN - WR)

J. Galloway (TB - WR)

K. Johnson (CAR - WR)

C. Cooley (WAS - TE)

K J. Kasay (CAR - K)

D/ST Carolina

D/ST Tampa Bay

Ok, I traded Hasselbeck and Willie Parker for Steven Jackson and Nate Burleson.

Then I traded Delhomme and Moats for Hines Ward and Reggie Brown.

Lastly, I traded Tampa defense and Burleson for Drew Brees and Marcus Pollard (throw in).

So that leaves me with...

My team after trades:

T. Brady (NE - QB)

Drew Brees(NO - QB)

Larry Johnson (KC-RB)

S. Jackson (STL - RB)

M. Moore (MIN - RB)

H. Ward (Pit - WR)

J. Galloway (TB - WR)

T. Houshmandzadeh (CIN - WR)

R. Brown (Phi - WR)

K. Johnson (CAR - WR)

C. Cooley (WAS - TE)

M. Pollard (Det - TE)

K J. Kasay (CAR - K)

D/ST Carolina

...What do you think now?

Thanks!!!

Hmmm...

I really like the Delhomme/Moats for Ward/Brown trade. That was a sweet move for you.

I'm not sure about the rest. You've essentially traded away Hasselbeck (around a top 5 QB last year) and Willie Parker for Brees and Jackson. IF Brees can do what he did last year, that's a good deal for you. Upgrade at both positions. But he had serious shoulder surgery, and doesn't have Gates anymore. I'm not necessarily down on Brees, I'm just very wary.

Then again, Jackson may do well enough to make it all worth your trouble just from him. Parker will likely have to split time, and Jackson won't.

It's not a bad move, it's just a risk, because of Brees. But fantasy ball is about risks, right? Good luck!

I disagree with this because Stephen Jackson is a guaranteed 1st round pick and he gave up Hasselbeck and Parker. He already has Brady, does he really need Hasselbeck? And he's getting a first round pick. A no brainer IMO.
