I am trying to get Brandon Marshall from a guy in my league that is very weak at RB. I started by offering Chris Perry and Donald Driver for him and he countered with Marshall & Julius Jones for Perry and Calvin Johnson. I am very high on Megatron this year and am not willing to give him up. I countered back with Perry & Burleson for Marshall. Here is my team and his RBs: (10 team redraft, no PPR)

 

My Team:

QB: Schaub & Garrard

RBs: Westbrook, Portis, McFadden, J Stewart, Perry, A Hall

WRs: Colston, Calvin, Driver, Burleson, Rice

TE: Clark

D: GB

K: JBrown

 

His RBs: McGahee, Mo Morris, Forte, Julius Jones, Norwood

 

I think getting Marshall would make me very solid at WR and RB. I started small, but how high should I go in offering a RB? Would you trade Portis for Marshall str8 up? I think my back up RBs are solid enough, along with Rice and Slaton still available on waivers. Also, how does my team look? Thanks for your help.

Your loaded so make him come to you. Do not trade Calvin unless you start getting you gotta be kidding me trades.

He drafted Brady with #1 pick overall, that is why his RBs suffered, but I doubt he will let him go if he took him 1st. His backup is Rodgers so I don't see goin after a QB from him. I just thought I could get Marshall or Braylon Edwards off him since he is weak at RB. Thanks for your input. GO STEELERS!!

Forte. I can see Peyton 2nite throwing tons of passes to the te and rb out of the backfield.

Remember that Manning is dinged and Saturday is out. As a Wayne owner I am freaking out over this but u cant sit wayne.

I'm not worried about Grant's hammy -- I think he'll play and get most of the carries, but facing that tough Minn run D, am I better off with these other choices, or is this still a case where you "always start your studs"?

The scoring in my 12-team league awards points for everything. For WR and RB, you get 2 points for each receiving/rush yard, 2 PPR and 60 points per TD.

 

I drafted S. Holmes, Burleson and Berrian as my WR. I also have Vincent Jackson, Porter, Bryant Johnson and Meacham.

 

Since we start QB, RB, RB, WR, WR, WR, WR/RB, TE, K, DST...Burleson's injury kills me. I have the first WW pick this week, so my question is, do I look for a WR on the waiver wire this week (not much to choose from) or try to work out a trade. I have put MJD and De'Angelo Williams on the trading block to see who is interested and 2 owners responded. They primarily like MJD but one owner stated that he'd take Williams for Courtney Taylor and Reggie Brown, which doesn't excite me.

 

What WR are fair to get for trading MJD or Williams? My other RB are Lynch, Ray Rice, A. Bradshaw.
