I was one of the owners that got fed up. Look at his stats and they are what they are. about 7 to 9 points each week. Hard to accept even as a flex play for a starting rb.
-
Been waiting patiently the last 5 weeks for him to come back off his achilles injury. He will be starting for me at my RB#2 if he is going. If not I can also play Dwyer.
-
I actually picked up D Thomas and A Roberts this week. I was able to manuvuer enough through the season to allow me to have two spots open. I am in a 10 team league. Setting at 6-4 and the #4 position after 10 weeks.

I tend to agree with the list in general. The top three are right. You can make a case with either Texans or Falcons at 1 and Pack a close third and gaining quickly. Ravens are at the bottom and very close to dropping out of the top 10. A lot of questions on defense and injuries. Offense seems to be trying to go away from the smash mouth football with play action sprinkled in for good measure. Their Offenseive Coord needs to get back to that to re-establish their identity. Spots 4 through 9 are pretty interchangeable. I think you can make a case for just about any list within this group. I woulld not argue too much with this setup. Maybe Giants up a spot or two but just because they handed SF their butts a few weeks ago doesm't mean they are playing better now. The weekly list changes based on how a team plays as the season goes along. Overall, good list.

All I can hope for then is a lot of straight ahead running by Jonathan "TheBus2" Dwyer. Now if the line can get it together today, I still expect a chance of a nice production day from Dwyer.

I'm nervous too. I replaced M Floyd with B Stokley in my flex position. Believe on a normal day with similar matchups I would go with Floyd, but weather and NO Def could not pass up the chance of Stokley on the backside for Manning. Plus he and Manning have done a fairly good job of producing the last 4 weeks on limited targets.

So with Jennings and probably Nelson out this week does everyone think GB plays only two receiver sets or does D Driver become the #3 in the more three receiver sets GB likes to employ? I know Driver is a wideout like the other two but won't Cobb move into the slot? Driver could be a sneaky play this week. Long shot I know.

Thanks for the insight JtmoneyJag. Knowing this thought process wouldn't you think GB would be thinking the same and play tough on the edges with the corners to take away the short passing game? Force Gabbert and the OLine prove they can take the ball downfield. That should allow the DEnds to maintain the edges as well as after Gabbert in definite passing situations. This basically tends to think Jennings will have to be very productive between the tackles (which I think he can). If he can force the GB Def to adjust to the inside game, then maybe the Jags can take advantage to the edges and short passing game. Play calling will be big for Jags keeping GB guessing. They can't just lineup and say here we come, stop us. Just my two cents.

Dwyer will likely draw another start this week

I am in the same boat. Have Mendy and Dwyer. Also have Ballard. Byes have me loooking at playing both potenttial but I also have M Floyd against Clev secondary. Leaning towards Ballard and Dwyer but have Floyd in the flex right now. Just waiting to the last second based on practice reports. This season really has sucked with injuries and bye combos. I haven't dealt with this much weekly problems in the 10+ years of doing ff. Guess it was my time. -
I need Floyd to pull a jordy nelson. About 200 yds, 10 catches and 3 tds. I will just take another loss. Crap!!!

Romo is my backup to Matty Ryan. I will play Romo next week against Carolina then will figure out what to do with him.

To me it looks like a two for one with RG3 for Dez and Palmer. Lions DEF/ST is just an add on. If you RG3 can keep up what he is doing then I would do it immediately. Not sure what you have for another defense or what is available but that should not be too difficult to find a replacement. Pick up Ariz if available. Dallas can become better as the season goes and Dez's value could go up. Overall I like the trade.

Green Bay Packers at Seattle Seahawks

I don't have a dog in the fight and I'm not looking for one, but I played WR at the college level (although small college) and I would be pissed if I did 99% of the work and someone else got the credit. I get how the rule reads but no way in hell Tate made that catch. To me simultaneous possession did not take place until they were both on their backs and fighting for the ball. By that time the play has concluded. The catch is completed and progression of the catch is finalized. It was in plain sight of the referees and should not have been so grey. The league had no choice but to back up the replacement refs. No way they would come out and go against the call. If they did just imagine the sh*t storm that would have erupted, but they did say the offensive pass interference sould have been called. Thanks but no thanks. The 99% to 1% thinking reminds me of some of the other thinking that is going on in this country. Where is the logical thinking at. Everything is not always black and white. Just my two cents. Now give to me. -
Does anyone think Simpson hurts Harvin's value a little or strengthen it. I want to believe that with Simpson being the vertical threat that Harvin may be able to take advantage of the mid-level routes across the field. Which I hope plays into his catch and run phase of his game.

He was drafted but he guy who had him had to drop him because of injuries at other spots and could not wait on him. He sat there last week and I couldn't believe he was still there. Someone else's injury bug gave me a chance to pick him up. Has nothing to do with the league being weak. Ask about the situation before assuming something. I could have added that little info, so I apologize for that.
