rc7112 0 Posted August 27, 2014 12 team standard scoring league, QB RB RB FLEX WR WR TE K DEF... had pick #11 QB: Tom Brady RB: Montee Ball, Doug Martin, Chris Johnson, Steven Jackson, Terrance West, Devonta Freeman, Ronnie Hillman WR: Vincent Jackson, Victor Cruz, Eric Decker, Hakeem Nicks, Jarrett Boykin TE: Kyle Rudolph PK: (EMPTY) DEF: New Orleans Saints I feel decent about this I think - I'd love to hear outside opinions on if I can skate by with my current WRs (I'd likely be starting three RBs every week) Also - I need to drop a RB for a kicker...I'm thinking it's going to be Hillman. Maybe I should try to deal West to the Tate owner for WR or TE depth? Drop Boykin for Stills? Please leave a link to your post and I'll offer up my thoughts in return, thanks
tanatastic 2,061 Posted August 27, 2014 You can skate but there are gonna be weeks where you get 3pnts from both wrs and also big games from both. Hillman represents a ball handcuff so maybe ud want to hold into him. He has more value to you than any other team. Maybe cut Boykin instead. First couple weeks of the season will be big. If Steven Jackson comes out with a great game (u should prob even start him) u can trade him for a good wr that had a crap game. Guys are suckers for that and panic week 1. dmburrell06 0 Posted August 27, 2014 Cutting Boykin would be your best, but what's your plan when brady has a bye?
Sean McDermott 2 Posted August 28, 2014 I have seen better teams. I don't know about the Doug Martin pick. I am not a fan of his at all. Maybe it will work out well, but I imagine a stud WR was there for that pick and would have gone with someone like Dez or AJ Green or Thomas there if they were available. Then grab a RB with your 3rd or 4th picks. Too me I am not crazy about Jackson or Cruz either. They could have big weeks, but more than likely, they won't do much for you. It's those 140-3td games that will make it seem ok, but maybe you'll get 1 or 2 of those if you are lucky. I would drop Hillman and keep Boykin. I think Boykin has less competition to deal with than Stills. West or Freeman might pan out if and when Jackson or Tate goes down.
