Sopranos 0 Posted August 11, 2006 Does anyone else get a kick out of the schmucks that ask for a draft or team rating and then when you give it to them or critique their team in any way, they have to turn around and explain why they made that pick?? Is this so they can expect that you will turn around and re-post and say that you understand and take back what could have been done differently? Is the ultimate goal here to have everyone simply say, " You're a genius, I understand every pick you made and you have perfect reasoning for me to refute my comments". I don't get it. aggiewildlife 0 Posted August 11, 2006 Well I think there's a difference between them defending their choices and them just being defensive and refusing to see other viewpoints. To me, I strategically pick each player as best I can and might be curious for others perspective. Once offered, I might disagree and explain my viewpoint. But I try to remain open to the possibility that somebody else has a perspective that's more convincing than my own, in which case I try to follow their advice or make changes to my team. Now if a schmuck won't hear anything but that they were fantasy Gods and picked the greatest team of all time, well then fockem!
Sopranos 0 Posted August 11, 2006 I think they rank right up there with the clowns that say "Rate my team....How did I do" - and this is their team: P. Manning, T. Brady LJ, LT, SA, Portis S. Smith, TO, C. Johnson, T. Holt, Fitzgerald and Chambers A. Gates, Shockey, Vernon Davis Vinatieri, Elam Bears DEF, Colts DEF. How can I improve? I'm new at this. Should I make trades? Is Chambers good enough or should I pick up undrafted Marvin Harrison? Jackasses!
