froggsnflfan53 0 Posted August 8, 2006 Doesnt look to bad, but your qb has a few ???? Green is a soild back, but with welbourne and roaf calling it carrers, he wont have as much time in the pocket and green is not a mobile qb. Brooks, well, its brooks. did you happen to see the game on sunday? 1-3 with a pick and a TD. Your RB should be (key word) solid down to Jones. After that its anybodys guess. WR is not very good, Im sorry to say. Housh is your best, after that you have 2 aging options in McCardell and galloway, And Givens doesnt really have a qb throwing to him this year yet. And bennet, who? Gates is good. Must have been your third pick. I would see if I couldn't Trade a RB for some more stability in your QB or WR. But thats just my opinion
Ryedog 0 Posted August 8, 2006 Your draft is exactly why I want to go RB/WR/RB with my first 3 picks because you lack a "go to" wide out and that killed me last year. I think you go ahead and grab a stud RB with pick 1, then a stud WR with pick 2. Then there is bound to be a serviceable #2 back with pick 3. But all in all I would give you a B- grade. You should be in a lot of games!
c_Weezie 3 Posted August 8, 2006 Not bad. BUT your WRs are awful all of them are #3 FF WRs at best. If I were you I would try to move Willis or JJ to a team with no clear cut #2 RB, for a top notch WR. Then you would have 3 good RBs, and a lot better WR corps. As of right now, I dont like your chances to finish at the top of league, if you can pull off that move ^^ I would like your chances much more. Good Luck ! nj_swede 0 Posted August 8, 2006 Hmm...what would I have to offer in order to get Chad Johnson. I know this guy is willing to trade because he said it last night during the draft. His Team: QB, Matt Hasselbeck, Drew Brees, Ben Roethlisberger, Byron Leftwich RB- Clinton Portis, Brian Westbrook, Warrick Dunn WR- Chad Johnson, Rod Smith, Nate Burleson, Donte' Stallworth, Jerry Porter, Reggie Brown T- Heath Miller D/ST- Bengals K- Shayne Graham I have no idea why he went with 4 QBs in a league where we only start one so don't ask me. rsouth00 0 Posted August 8, 2006 other than tike and gates, I don't think I'd want to have your team. Your QB's are iffy at best. Green is way too old (although he has been consistent in previous years) and with LJ I'd be a little worried. Brooks will make you or break you and given his history I'd lean more towards break you. (besides, he looked horrible in his first preseason game). J Jones may turn out to be a great pick IF he stays healthy. Your WR's are weak, weak, weak. Try to put something together to pick up atleast one top 10 WR (but try to hold on to gates, should have a HUGE year)
