Jets may have slightly overpaid but they are now relevant. They have a shot and their fans can enjoy a season that actually matters. Even if they don't win it all it will at least be interesting. Packers get some picks to help their rebuild and unload Rodgers. In the end, I think it's a win for both sides.

I was a 21 year old Marine and I was 100% supportive because I was young and dumb and thought the Middle East just needed a lil' Democracy. I went to Kuwait for the invasion but never got sent into Iraq. That war did more to damage the United States than anything I can think of in my lifetime. Nothing pisses me off more than seeing articles years ago about GWB visiting wounded troops at Walter Reed like he was some compassionate leader. He was a piece of sh!t that knowingly sent God knows how many Americans and Iraqis to their death because he wanted a legacy. No different than Putin.

My kids watched him for a bit. Always thought he was weird. I looked him up a while back and he's an ex air-force guy that's made a ton of money with his channel. Seems like he's just a guy that would do anything to become youtube famous and make a ton of money. It worked.

If the US doesn't support Ukraine then Poland or some other NATO country is next. If that happens, US is obligated to defend their NATO allies with their own troops.

I was kind of shocked when they were talking about how we shouldn't have kept kids home from school because COVID doesn't affect them and he said "but it does affect teachers because they are adults". Bill had the obvious answer of "if a teacher is immunocompromised, then they should stay home". Nobody really talks about COVID anymore so I just kind of assumed theres a general understanding that keeping kids home from school was an overraction and damaging to kids. It was a good reminder that some people are unwilling to admit when they're wrong. I had a similar reaction when I followed Taylor Lorenz on Twitter. I always knew she was crazy but holy sh!t it was disturbing how much she doesn't want COVID to ever end.

If you're looking for substance it isn't there because you aren't the target audience. She's a pop star. There is never substance in pop. But you have to give her credit, she's made a ton of money and has actual talent. I will also add that she did a folk album in the past few years, with some help from other artists, and I thought it was quite good.

Rodgers will get his choice. He can go to Vegas and reunite with Adam's. Adam's tweeted this recently Granted he isn't the GM but he wants him there. If I was Rodgers I would stay away though. It's the same position he's been in for a decade with an awful defense. Rodgers does seem to just want to play with friends though. If I'm Rodgers I would want to go the the Jets. Offensive weapons and a good defense. They could immediately be a playoff team. Green Bay should have traded him last year. Now it should be clear they aren't winning anything with him. The team just isnt there to compete. Time to reboot and get some picks to help the process along.

Denver has to be the worst coaching spot in the league unless Russ isn't really as bad as he looked last year. A team with no draft picks and a garbage salary cap anchor at QB for the next couple years is a bad situation. Maybe Payton thinks he can improve the offense slightly and that will be enough with a good D. But with no draft picks, the long term outlook is rough.

Pull-ups have a lot to do with body type too. The short muscular guys when I was in the Marines could always hammer out 20 seemingly without effort. I was 6 feet and skinny and in great shape but struggled to get past 15. I'm still in good shape but pull-ups are still tough for me.
