Middling QBs

Recommended Posts

I'm going to buck the trend here and suggest you go with Eli. Dallas won't have too much of a pass rush with Greg Ellis out, and their secondary is suspect. Terrence Newman is injured and will not be 100% if he can go. Their third CB, Aaron Glenn, was cut this weekend, so Nate Jones or Jacque Reeves could be getting a lot of playing time (uh-oh). And Roy Williams sucks in coverage.

Cutler will also still have some more growing pains before being a consistent performer, while Eli is a little further along. For week one, go with Manning.

I'd go with Cutler. He should be good for 2 TD's. There is nothing underrated about Buffalo's D.

Manning with Sunday night, on the road, and no Barber is a much more risky pick.

BUF's pass D is pretty good. The Cowboys are missing Terrence Newman. They'll be inexperienced at the corner this week and it's a divisional game. I can't say I'm a big Eli fan but he might be the way to go this week.

Eli because it'll be a shootout in Dallas.

Cutler doesn't even have a full season under his belt and he'll play like it.

Interesting responses. I get the feeling that a lot of you recommending Cutler are doing so more out of an anti-Eli bias (not that there's no reason to have this bias). Eli's preseason and Dallas's banged up DBs have me leaning toward Eli, though.

Thanks, doods.
