Keeper Dynasty help

Recommended Posts

Hey guys, I'm in a 12 team league where we are converting from a 0-3 keeper to a full dynasty.

My keepers are LT, Caddy and McGahee.

It's a 6pt per td league, and 1 ppr, 1pt per 10 rush/rec, 1pt per 25 pass

So we start

1qb,

2 rb

3wr

1 te

1 flex (wr/te/rb)

1 k

1 d/st

and have a total of 26 roster spots.

Now: I pick 4.12 and 5.1

But since some people arent picking 3 keepers. I have to wait 19 total picks before 4.12/5.1

I'm not quite sure about the draft class next year but I do have two first round picks (2 of the top 12 rookies will be mine) How is the runningback class looking?

So what type of stragedy would you come up with.

Do I have to go WR-WR at 4.12 or 5.1

or even take the best avail rb or qb?

Take a shot at a rookie rb and then a WR?

Just curious on your guys thoughts.

Anyone have a draft I can look at?

So what type of stragedy would you come up with.

Do I have to go WR-WR at 4.12 or 5.1 I'd do it considering the RBs you already have

or even take the best avail rb or qb?19 picks later, your RB options are probably fair and you'll still get decent QB value in round 6

Take a shot at a rookie rb and then a WR? Yeah, if you can can Reggie Bush...but doubt it seriously based on your draft position...

Just curious on your guys thoughts.

Anyone have a draft I can look at? Check out the dynasty blog at the bottom of my sig...I believe I give a link to our draft in the blog, if not let me know and I'll send it your way.

the first 3 rounds are not snake then i pick 4.12 and 5.1 then the rest of the draft is snake so I pick last every even round.

In our first round we have 1 pick, 2nd we have 3 picks and third we have 4 teams picking

plus 11 before me in the 4th = 19 picks to wait.

Bush will be picked in the 2nd round somewhere)

Im looking ahead at 4.12 and 5.1 overall

48 and 49th overall.

Considering this is the first draft switching to dynasty I don't think I'd worry so much about whether or not to get an RB or a WR but I'd go for the young yet somewhat established players with big upside (Roy Williams, Santana Moss) etc. or I'd even be tempted to go for a combo pick like Jones/Benson Foster/WIlliams etc if they're available. I wish I could be of more help but It's been a few years since I've been in a Dynasty League.

btw. I got one spot left for the annual "A Little Help!" league. It's free to join but has a small payout for first through third place. I'm looking for some of the senior members from this forum if you want the last spot it's yours!
