Texansfan 0 Posted August 27, 2006 Dang that's a tough league to start that many players!!! 2 QBs you're in pretty good shape. Especially if Brooks develops chemistly with Moss. For starting 3 RBs I think you're very solid. 4 WRs you're marginal. You have 2 very good ones and the rest are questionable. You might want to look to get another solid starter there. You don't want to start Bennett and Givens from the same team and Caldwell and Lelie are #2 or #3 WR on their own team. Thanks for looking at mine!
CNudd 0 Posted August 27, 2006 i think that you did a good job. i agree with last poster, your qbs and rbs are solid. you might want to get trade either bennett or givens. caldwell could be decent if branch doesnt play and he learns to catch the damn ball! solid team tho, just add another wr and your golden. see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=225043
Fantasy Noob 10 Posted August 27, 2006 I love leagues like this where ya gotta start a ton of players makes drafting fun and scouring the waiver wire a priority. I like your starting 3 RB's, and I think your first three WR's will be ok. You do need a fourth WR and in a two QB league, I am wary of your second QB (Brooks looked horrible, and Brunell is old coming off a career year). Not sure if you can trade with anyone but depending on your scoring I would look for a improvement on your second QB, and then look for a fourth WR. There might and should be some good WR value picks on the waiver wire. I know this sounds silly, but if Carr is on the WW I would take a chance on him over A.Smith. I honestly think the Texans will put up some decent fantasy points, like a couple years ago. Of course that wont help them in the standings there still gonna suck Does C.Brown, cover all your bye weeks? G.Jones got hurt but I would hold on to him, was hearing good things about him during preseason, he seemed primed to replace Taylor now we just have to wait longer. But in a deeper league like this it probably is worth the wait.
prescott32 0 Posted August 27, 2006 I agree with all of the above. I'd hold on to Bennett in case he and Volek hook up like they did a couple of seasons ago. Plus, Bennett is in his contract year.
Apu Nahasapeemapetilon 0 Posted August 27, 2006 Other than 3rd QB, that's a pretty good team considering the number of starters. I'm a huge Skins fan, and Brunell looks more horris than ever. Preseason yes, but it's horrid and A Smith blows. Love the depth at WR in that league. I think you are solid there. thx for mine. i just hate TO.

If he keeps that up he might be a steal. Knock on wood. I waited a long time to take another QB. While the other teams were taking Qbs i was snatching Rbs. pmg 0 Posted August 28, 2006 I get worried about Brooks but think the team is solid otherwise. If Brooks has a big passing year and one of the WR's work out you shoudl be playoffs all the way
mjm 0 Posted August 28, 2006 You're fine at qb, rb and great at te. But with having to start 4 wr's, your depth is a bit of a problem. Boldin and Plax are great and Bennett will probably be a servicable 3rd. However, Lelie is no guarantee to start in Atlanta, and even if he does, he has to rely on Michael Vick to get him the ball. And Givens and Caldwell are probably no better than what you could probably find on the waiver wire, although Caldwell might have some increrased chances due to Branch's holdout. I do think Watson will breakout this year, so you could always trade him or Gonzo for a quality wr.
