FBH ** 0 Posted August 28, 2006 Just drafted my team in the 10 hole in a 10 man league. We start 1QB, 2RB, 3WR, 1RB/WR, 1TE, 1K, 1DST. 6pts for all TD, and .5 PPR, other than that standard scoring. QB - Culpepper, Warner RB - Jordan, CTaylor, FWP, Rhodes, Addai WR - SSmith, CJohnson, ABryant, MiClayton, TTaylor TE - Heap, Watson K- Kasay DST - Redskins I am very happy with the team overall, but I feel like I am a little light in the WR area, I don't have a whole lot of depth after the 2 studs, and offered one of the other owners - Heap and The Colts RB for Gore and Driver. Because I like both Driver and Gore, and I am very comfortable with Watson as my starter at TE. My question is this: Are there any other changes that I should be looking to make? Any input would be appreciated. I will take a look at yours too, if you leave a link. Thanks guys.

jhowie 0 Posted August 28, 2006 yeah if you can get that trade, do it. Gore as your flex would definitely be an upgrade. You're not light on the wr's as one of the 3 backups will emerge for you.
boogaloobboy 0 Posted August 28, 2006 I don't like the trade beause Gore is too injury prone. Your going to get good production out of the Colts backfield either way, why trade for someone on a god awful offense who's team will constantly be behind and throwing to stay in it? Thats without the 4 knee surgeries. You stick Jordan/Colt starter/Chester as your Rb's and then throw out Steve Smith and Chad Johnson. I realize your league starts 3 wideouts but who gives a damn who your third is if the first two you trot out are CJ and Smith? Also keep in mind that Heap will be far more consistent than Watson given the nature of NE offense. mossified 0 Posted August 29, 2006 QB - Culpepper, Warner RB - Jordan, CTaylor, FWP, Rhodes, Addai WR - SSmith, CJohnson, ABryant, MiClayton, TTaylor TE - Heap, Watson K- Kasay DST - Redskins Pretty solid for drafting out of the 10 spot. No matter who prevails in Indy, you got the RB covered. Could lead to some headaches when they are deciding, but hopefully that will be only one week. You may be thin at WR, but you have Smith and Chad. Pretty powerful. Hopefully Clayton or Bryant steps up. Once a winner prevails at RB in Indy, hopefully you can move a RB for another WR. I believe Culpepper and Kurt Warner are both in for a big year. You may be able to move one of them too. Good luck!
