Clinker26 0 Posted August 30, 2006 10 team draft. My choice at pick 14. With Rudi as my 1st rd pick at 1.07. Is it better to grab another RB or should I grab one of the top WR's and hope for Dunn/FWP in the 3rd. All TD's are 6pts. I'll help all that help me
2Dumb2Live 0 Posted August 30, 2006 Every mock I have done going RB/WR/RB has seemed to work out best...in my opinion the RBs that will be left will be low 2nd tier or even 3rd tier, with questions...so my thinking is to get a stud WR with that 2nd pick and get a 3rd tier RB the next time around... Here's mine... http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=226289

I would probably go with a Top WR (CJ, Smith, Holt) in the 2nd and get a RB in the 3rd
ppierce 2 Posted August 30, 2006 i disagree with above. i think that there are plenty of good receivers that will fall back to you in the 3rd. Chambers, Harrison, Wayne, Roy Williams, possibly even Boldin? Compare those guys with the caliber of RB's you'll be seeing in the 3rd. A bunch of unproven, share carrying p-rods. there is not a clear cut tier system this year with WR's. there are so many good ones. Chambers could easily finish top 3-5. And no, i haven't drafted him. YET.
jizzatch 0 Posted August 30, 2006 I managed to get McGahee in the 3rd round. By comparison, CJ went in the 1st round and Holt in the early 2nd. I think you would actually do better to go WR in the 2nd and can still get a solid RB2 in the 3rd, if not McGahee, you could get Willie Parker or Chester Taylor.
