Pickup Lundy/Norwood Trade for Hassleback?

RB- R. Brown, W. Dunn, J. Addai, D. Williams, M. Barber

WR- L. Fitzgerald, D. Driver, L. Evans, D. Bennet

TE- T. Heap

K- S. Graham

DST- Jets

 

I'm looking for some general management help. A guy in our league has Brady and Hasselback and is looking to move Hasselback. He offered Hasselback for Dunn and I declined. I feel I will be weak at RB if I drop Dunn. Looking for options to get Hasselback.

 

We use waivers Tuesday thru Thursday. If we use a waiver we drop to the bottom of the list, it does not reset weekly. I'm currently 5th on the waiver order. Wondering if I should use the waiver to complete some of the following options or wait to see who is left.

 

Lundy and Norwood are both FA's right now.

 

What should I do?

1) Drop Bennet and pickup Lundy to prepare moving a RB for a QB?

2) Drop Bennet and pickup Norwood for Dunn Insurance?

3) Trade Dunn for Hasselback?

4) Trade ______ for Hasselback?

5) Do nothing. Relax until the season starts.

 

Any opinions are welcome.

You will be weak at rb if you lose dunn as none of the other rbs on your roster are opening day starters. Even Lundy is kind of a question mark and he is certainly less valueable than dunn. I dont think Hasselback is enough of an improvement over green to justify the trade.

I wouldn't do Dunn for Hasselback straight up, you'd only have Brown as a legit RB, your others are too big into RBBC to start season.... however you could then pick up Lundy.

 

What about someone like Addai and Green/Vick for Hasselback then pick up Lundy or Norwood to replace Addai. What would be the chances of waiting till 12:01 am Friday and still picking up one of the 2 so you don't lose waiver placement?

I would not do Dunn for Hass. The drop from Dunn to your next best RB is far greater than you gain from Green to Hass. If you could do a two player trade Green/Dunn for Hass/and one of his other RBs(that is at least a starter maybe).

 

If it were my team I would drop D.Bennett and pick up Lundy if you can. If you get this done just sit back and watch the first week or two. If Lundy goes off look to move him fast.

 

As you saw in my post I am going to do the same w/Lundy and or T.Jones.
