Jackson,Boldin,Wayne or Jackson, Parker, Wayne

Recommended Posts

Who should I draft in the first 3 rounds? If I take Parker in the 2nd, I will have to wait till near the end of the 4th for a WR. If I take Boldin in the 2nd, then my #2 RB will be drafted in the 4th round. Which would mean I have a pretty weak #2 RB of Gore, Fred Taylor, or Thomas Jones.

Which combo do you like better? This is a 12 teams league. Thanks, I will help with your question.

Assuming you have like the #5 pick, and are already decided on SJax (get Rudi instead if you can) in a 12 team league with no points per catch, playing 2 rb's, 2 wr's, and a flex:

Take two rb's in a row and hope there are tier2 wr's available for your third pick.

I did much the same thing from the #8 spot, with the above rules, and took R Brown, and then Parker.

With the third pick, which is the one that really deserves the most attention, I didn't feel like any of the WR's available were as valuable as a starting rb at flex, so I took C Taylor.

If you have a wr that you REALLY love, then maybe take him in the 2nd, but most of the tier one guys are pretty old, no? Go the safe route and take 2 rb's, and then a wr.

MY real advice is to do what I did and suck it up with the wr's, going rb-rb-rb, but take a wr 3rd if a great one is there. Hopefully, your draft unfolds differently than mine, allowing you to feel good about a wr in the third. But I really honestly feel that taking a wr 2nd is a huge mistake, even if you pick fifth.

just my opinion, thanks for the help on mine.

Jackson, Parker, Wayne is the better combo , simply due to the fact that Pitt is one of those teams where you dont need to worry about a running back by committee. Duce will probably get traded , and Haynes will probably get minimal time. FWP is the man in Pitt.
