Boldin with Fitzgerald?

Recommended Posts

I have Boldin and Fitzgerald on both my seasonal and keeper leagues.

Last year they were stud producers and i played them together weekly. Should I do the same this year with EJ in the mix?

Should I consider trading one?

I have the following "reserves"

Seasonal: (1RB 1RB/WR 2 WR) Mason, McCardell, Gabriel

(This week i am starting boldin, Fitz, Tomlinson and Westbrook)

Keeper: (2rb 3WR) Edwards, Burress, Andre Johnson, Samie Parker, and Stovall

(Boldin, Fitz, Burress)

I wouldn't be comfortble with both of them now that the have Edge...try to trade one, possibly Fitz because you can get more value for him and they both should do well.

I think Fitzgerald and Boldin out performed your other choices of Mason, McCardell, Gabriel for week 1.

Good luck rest of season.

week 1

Fitzgerald 9-133-0

Boldin 4-62-1

Mason 4-50-0

Gabriel 0-0-0

McCardell 1-18-0

Fitz and Bolding is the only combo in the NFL I would not hesitate to start each week. One will usually give you a TD and one at least 100 yards receiving so you cant really go wrong. I would stay put until you have some injuries in your backfield or qb sitation then maybe look for a trade

I agree. I think that's probably the only duo you could start safely. It's almost handcuffing in that one generally has the big week and the other an ok week; sometimes both explode simultaneously.
