bruin1 0 Posted September 18, 2006 My RBs: Jamal Lewis, Reuben Droughns, Thomas Jones, Dominic Rhodes My WRs: Chad Johnson, Steve Smith, Troy Williamson His RBs: Shaun Alexander, Chester Taylor, Cedric Benson, Derrick Blaylock His WRs: Larry Fitzgerald, Santana Moss, Isaac Bruce, TJ Housh He has stated he needs RBs. Would he go for a 2-for-1 trade (i.e. Jones and Rhodes or Droughns and Rhodes for Taylor)? And, is that worth it for me? Or, is it worth pursuing one of his WRs with Steve Smith hurt (i.e. Droughns or Jones for Moss)? Thanks for your advice and suggestions!
Fearsome 22 Posted September 18, 2006 If you can get C Taylor for Droughns and Rhodes do that now!!! I think you should stick to the RB angle. He wont give you Fitz and Moss is going to stuggle as long as Portis is dinged (plus Brunell blows!). Bruce and Housh are not viable either. Bruce doesnt get enough touches and Housh is a third or fourth option in that offense. Frankly Taylor, IMO, is better than all of you RBs. So do what you can to get him. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=234461
Hoos 0 Posted September 18, 2006 If you can give up Droughns and Rhodes for Taylor I'd run with it. Looks like the Browns will be playing from behind a lot this year and I just don't think Rhodes will put p any kind of numbers. Chester is the focus of the Vikes offense and he can play. twofewbraincell 7 Posted September 18, 2006 I dont think he can go for this, he may want RB's but I dont think its going to be at the expense of one of his two starters....my recommendation is to start looking at other teams and finding a RB just under them. If he loses Taylor he isn't left with much.
papagrande55 0 Posted September 19, 2006 I do not know why he would do it, but if you can do a 2 for 1 and get taylor while giving up Droughns and Jones, you gotta do it. Thanks for helping me.
