Trade D. Rhodes for Big Ben and choice of three RB's

I've been offered Big Ben and my choice of Travis Henry, Cedric Benson or Chris Brown for Dominic Rhodes. Rhodes is my only back up RB in a large league whith a limit of 3 RB's on roster. My starters are LJ and Ronnie Brown, my QB's are Plummer and Frye, so I can really use Ben. Which RB will make the best bye week replacement down the road?

So your only allowed 3 RB's and his are C.Benson, C.Brown, and T.Henry??? WOW, he's pretty much out of it. Dominic Rhodes is your best back-up RB, keep him. I don't consider Big Ben an up grade over Plummer!!!!!

Don't make that trade. Ben is not that great of a fantasy QB. If you can't get one off waivers, Plummer should get better. Don't panic yet, it's early.

well, this situation is more serious if you think of it this way:

 

1) Plummer is underperforming

2) the backup is Charlie Frye

 

agreed, youre giving up your #3 RB, but based on Addai's last performance I dont think Rhodes will be putting up much in terms of numbers by mid season.

 

I'd take this deal and take Brown or Benson (if you think he can get the #1 job from Jones) At least Rothlisberger can do something.

 

however, all this being said... if there is a limit of 3 RB's per team I'm wondering why your #3 RB is Rhodes. I'm sure you can do better than him on the waiver wire.

 

I"m also thinking you should look for a replacement for Charlie Frye. Maybe Alex Smith, Pennington, or Carr are available? I'd take them over Frye any day.
