Possible Trade - Parker and Mason for Boldin

I think I can get Anquan Boldin for one of Willie Parker/Fred Taylor and one of Derrick Mason/Rod Smith.

 

It's a PPR league, 1 point for every 10 yards and 6 points per touchdown. We start 2 RBs, 3 WRs and a RB/WR.

 

At RB and WR I have:

Larry Johnson

Willie Parker

Chester Taylor

Fred Taylor

Travis Henry

 

Torry Holt

Donald Driver

Derrick Mason

Rod Smith

Doug Gabriel

 

Whatver package I give up will cause some bye week problems, but I'm willing to work around that if it makes my team better overall. I'm more worried that if I trade away one of my RBs I won't be able to play matchups as much and I'll be more vulnerable to an injury.

 

Is it a no brainer anyway since I can start four WRs if a RB gets hurt?

 

And if you're still reading, which package would be best for me to give up? Taylor and Smith?

I would do it. either Taylor/Mason or Taylor/Smith .. trade for someone you can start now. You may never need Smith and Mason for the whole season.

If I was going to do it, I would do Taylor/Smith. It's a tossup of whether or not to do it, but you look solid at RB and just sick at WR if you have Boldin.

Taylor/Smith for Boldin would be a brilliant trade for you. i love Boldin. I'd do it for Taylor/Mason as well, but i do like Mason. grab Boldin!

I'd make the trade regardless of which receiver you lose. Even with one fewer RB, you have a great core and can still afford to play matchups with the flex position. Personal preference would be to trade Taylor/Smith, but with Boldin/Driver/Holt I'd only start Smith/Mason as a bye week filler or if you have multiple really bad RB matchups.
