Just made this trade. Was I crazy? The league is 6 pts. per TD, 1 point per 16.67 yards rushing and receiving and 1 point per 41.67 yards passing. 1 bonus point for 100 yards rushing or receiving. So it leans heavily toward TDs and rewards big rushing/receiving days.

 

My QBs are Hasselbeck, Vick and Leftwich

My RBs are L. Johnson, W. Parker, A. Green, C. Dillon and D. Williams

My WRs are Harrison, Glenn, Berrian, Galloway, Re. Williams

My TEs are LJ Smith and Cooley

I realize I'm left with Vick as my top QB, but he has a couple of easy matchups coming up and I can always work a trade for another QB down the road.

If Alexander returns soon and comes back to form then this was a good trade, but you may worry a little that Pitt is now giving Parker goal line carries. Fitz is a good pickup, while Alexander is a gamble that may payoff big in a few weeks. I wouldn't say you're crazy, just taking a big risk.

If you're comfortable with the risk then this is a trade that could really pay off. No way to tell now whether this trade is good for you, however you do get a top WR without giving up a WR. Also good to sell high with Hass.

this trade will help u in the long run, although u might still be taking a risk. If Alexander can get back to his old ways within a couple of weeks or so, then u will be better off. Ur giving up Parker, but Alexander will be better for u when u comes back (reigning MVP?). Ur giving up hasselbeck, who is just on fire right now, but ur getting a top 10 WR in Fitz. U still have the x-factor in Vick. He will not get u passing yards, but he will get u rushing yards and rushing TD's. U'll be fine.

I would have done the trade as well. Potentially gives you 2 of top 3 backs and 2 of the top 6 WR in the league if SA bounces back. You could dominate down the road.
