hawkvike 0 Posted September 28, 2006 My team is below...we start 2 QB's, 2 RB's, and 4 WR's; no defense, TE's, or kickers. 12 team league, no keeper. The offer is this: I get Ahman Green and Micheal Clayton He gets Plaxico My Starters: Hasselbeck Pennington Lamont Jordan Willie Parker Hines Ward Plaxico Andre Johnson Donald Driver Reserves: Trent Green Dayne Cotchery Reggie Brown I am weak at RB, but QB's are more important in our league. I am trying to get the toughest team come playoff time...this means losing Plaxico will hurt, but if Jordan doesn't improve, Green could improve my team. What do you guys think? Thanks in advance for the advice.
ggroovy17 0 Posted September 28, 2006 I think you can afford to do that trade because you have a good WR core in Ward, Johnson, Driver. Please answer mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=238751

bobpate17 0 Posted September 29, 2006 hmm I would not do that trade. you will be messing with your line up. I know you are worried about L. Jordan but he will bounce back. plexico is harrison of NYG. he has great chem with eli. I know it gives you good depth but don't trade studs for depth. plus u don't want driver and green starting at the same time. I have green he is only going to feel my bye week and then I am going to trade him away. so if you are not going to use him then why trade for him? http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=238875
CNudd 0 Posted September 29, 2006 i think i might do the deal. you seem to have good depth at wr and plex seems to be alil inconsistent. didnt he get benched during the last game? seems to me that he either blows up or does squat.
arrested development 0 Posted September 29, 2006 too much upside with Plaxico, too much downside with clayton with their qb situation. Stick with your guns. Jordan with turn it around. please see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=238880
WeatherReport 0 Posted September 29, 2006 If you take the trade, you have to start Cotchery or Michael Clayton (major loss of points), and will have the decision of Jordan v. Green (risky decision). But you also have Ron Dayne on the bench, so your not dead if Jordan does in fact lose it, (which I think he will bounce back to a respectable level personally) and you don't have Ahman Green. I wouldn't pay the points loss from downgrading from Plax to your replacement, for the added insurance of Ahman Green. Its too early. If this deal returns closer to the trade deadline, you'll have to reconsider the situation, but right now you can't take it. Thanks for mine.
NebraskaRRT 0 Posted September 29, 2006 I didn't even read the rest... sound familiar? Thanks for the reply but not reading everything fully really doesnt help. I did read yours fully to be polite. Plax is a nut case. Overall, your team does not look close to sniffing the playoffs, sorry. Clayton isnt worth a roster spot. So it is essentially Plax for Green. I dont like plax and I have him on my team. I would move him but not for green. Wait to see how green does this weekend.
DaBears34 0 Posted September 30, 2006 I think it depends on your opinion of Lamont. I think he will bounce back. If you don't, you're gonna need help at RB and I'd probably pull the trigger. I wouldn't count on Dayne for much. If you think Lamont will get you through, then stick with what you got. I agree with whoever said not to trade your starters for depth. The players on your bench aren't winning games for you.
