The Hunter 0 Posted September 30, 2006 in a standard (1 qb, 2 rb, 2 wr, 1 flex wr or rb, 1 te, 1 def, 1 k) 12-team league. i just completed a trade that gave portis and betts up in order for me to get warrick dunn, chad johnson and keyshawn johnson. i now have shaun alexander, warrick dunn, maurice morris, jerious norwood and brandon jacobs at running back, with chad johnson, darrell jackson, t.j. houshmandzadeh, keyshawn johnson, joey galloway and jerricho cotchery at wideout. who should i look to move and what level player are we talking? i've had someone offer me fred taylor for housh, but i think i can get better value. Highland Chargers 0 Posted September 30, 2006 The one highlight that you have in trading is the Jacobs...if it could work out...I would approach the team with Tiki and look for some Jacobs and 1 of your WRs for a good RB...not a Taylor, but a Jackson or JJones. big blue bingo bob 0 Posted September 30, 2006 My insticts say "stay away from Fragile Fred" I like TJH. If Chad was not there he would be a good #
udogg99 0 Posted September 30, 2006 If anything at all i would trade DJax and use him to get another RB
aauhoops33 0 Posted September 30, 2006 i like the portis trade, although i would try to trade a wr for more like a willie parker
lvnproof 0 Posted September 30, 2006 I would try and get a good RB for a WR that has overrated start power right now. Keyshawn is great - but will not be a consistant play as S.Smith starts to pick it up - but you can probably get more out of Keyshawn now than mid-season. Other than that - you may try Galloway, trying to capitalize on an uniformed owner who still banks on his star power from prior years - missing the fact that Tampa sucks this year and the QB situation doesn't bode well. I'd be looking for a healthy starting running back - maybe a willie parker or a ronnie brown level.

I'm not so sure I would have traded Portis in the first place, as your RB situation seems a little weaker to me. I'd try to move a WR and a backup RB for a better RB from someone else. Thanks for your help with mine!
