Do I have a chance to win this week?

Recommended Posts

Ok, So when I drafted, I did something stupid, something I have never done before. I didnt look at the bye weeks. So this week I lose Palmer, D Jax, Housh, and Chad Johnson(no big loss)

Luckily, I am playing the lowest scoring team in the league, but he has some decent matchups. Do I have a chance of winning? I am basically playing a team of FA's in a ten man league. Here are the lineups.

Me:

QB- Grossman

Rb- S Jax

RB- D Foster

WR- Bruce

WR- Furrey

WR- Gabriel

TE- Shockey

K -Kasay

DEF- Indianapolis @ TN

His Team:

QB- Brees or A Smith

RB-Portis

RB-Rhodes

WR-Burress

WR-Ward

WR-Toomer

TE-Eric Johnson

K-Stover

DEF- Denver or Buff

So is it over or do I have a shot? I am projected to score 10 more points than him, but I am being negative and dont think I have that great of a shot.

Well whether you looked at bye weeks or not, you know that if you draft 3 players from the same team (Palmer, CJ, Housh) you are in for a long week when they are off...

Who knows man, all your WRs are boom or bust, but of course you have a chance. Anything can happen in FF.

tough to say if you will win. id say he looks better but who knows. so far this has been a tough year. one upside to getting all same bye weeks is the fact that you only have one week where you are weak. all others you will be able to start those studs. some people use this strategy on purpose.

You look ok. Your RB's have GREAT matchups this week and Grossman is playing really well (better than Palmer). YOur WR's are kinda weak but I think you will be ok. Thanks for the help.

I think you are in decent shape. If Bernard Berrian is still available in your league, then I might dump Toomer in favor of him. Chicago is passing well and they have a bunch of opponents with bad pass Ds.
