Torch78 0 Posted October 5, 2006 For week 5 I am forced to pick up a QB to start off the Free Agency list because Hasselbeck is on bye and Trent Green isnt back from his injury yet. We have owners in our league that are really hoarding QB's so my only options for a starting QB for this weekend are Andrew Walter and Bruce Gradkowski. Walter plays the 49ers on the road, Gradkowski plays the Saints also on the road. Which of these two rookies will have the better game this weekend? This is a terrible situation to be in, I know. Who would you pick up for one week? Â Gradkowski or Walter?
Tacks 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Go with Gradkowski. Walter has already proven to suck.
Tall Stranger 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Wow. That's like asking if you'd rather be beaten with a sack of oranges or beat your head against a wall. Neither sounds appealing. Â That said, I agree with Tacks. You KNOW Walter is going to stink up the place. You only ASSUME Gradkowski will. Go with him.
Torch78 0 Posted October 5, 2006 I guess I should have worded this differently. I should have asked, which QB is more likely to get negative points this weekend?
bravo 0 Posted October 5, 2006 Flip a coin. Walter is playing SF and that is very tempting...but it could go either way. NO's secondary isn't good either, and Gradkowski might throw more simply because Caddy hasn't been up to par. From that, Gradkowski but again it could go either way. ziggyschiefs 0 Posted October 5, 2006 i'm going to go against the grain here and say that i think walter is improving little by little. he has a great matchup this week against a SF D that got absolutely shredded by KC last week. he won't be spectacular but i think he'll at least get you a score and some yards (enough not to be negative). you don't know with grad who is a complete rookie and TB has been sucking it up anyway. NO will make him pass and make mistakes.
