Yahoo gave me a C-! What do you think?

I'm glad to hear that Yahoo is gooned up. I'd never used them before, and now I know I can ignore them (the way I used to ignore ESPN's point predictions). Thanks for the feedback guys.
  2. I'm pretty stunned I got this grade, b/c I love my team. 12 team, PPR league: QB T. Romo WR B. Marshall WR R. Wayne RB J. Charles RB R. Bush TE J. Cameron WR/RB/TE P. Garcon DEF PIT K G. Zuerlein Bench: RB L. Miller RB G. Bernard RB B. Pierce RB C. Michael WR C. Shorts WR M. Floyd TE J. Cook

    WR/RB/TE strategy question

OK, so our league just changed the flex position from WR/RB to WR/RB/TE. It's a 12 team, PPR league. With that in mind, does it make sense to grab a guy like Graham in the second, then get another like Cook late? While everyone's talking about how deep TE is and how little difference there is between the 5th and 10th one off the board, I gotta figure that a guy like Cook is likely to give you at least as many points as a standard WR3. Also, what about taking a chance of Gronk in the 4th, then Cook later? Let Cook start the year as the fill-in, then hope Gronk comes back early. If any who's played with this kind of flex before has suggestionson strategy, I'd really appreciate it.

Trade T.O. for Warner straight up?

Thanks for answering mine. Assuming you start 3 WR, I don't like this trade very much. It leaves you with Randel El (an iffy commodity) and Walter (who's looking at a tough schedule coming up) at WR. With Romo back, TO will get his. Maybe not at the level of last season, but he's going to score substantially better than Randel El or Walter. Having TO as your #3 is very nice. Warner's a great fantasy QB, but I remain concerned about his ability to play a full season. Delhomme and Big Ben, while not as good, are more durable and both have very nice schedules in the future. Warner (if healthy) will probably outscore them most weeks, but not by enough to justify the loss of TO. Sure, you may lose this week. But since you seem to be in good playoff position, I'd stay put.

Is Torry Holt worth the pickup?

Thanks for helping me. To answer your question, I am not sold on Holt's value, but I'd rather have him than Moore. I just don't see a situation where you start him (unless Colston gets injured again). I guess what I'm saying is "sure, why not." Not a ringing endorsement, but not a bad move either. Good luck.

    Trade Offer

Hey, In a PPR league with 2 RBs, 2 WRs and 1 RB/WR, with teams as follows: Me: RB: Portis, Lynch, Chris Johnson, J. Lewis, McGahee, Buckhalter WR: B. Marshall, Welker, Cotchery, Bowe, Mason, Engram Him: RB: SJax, T. Jones, DMAC, Deuce, Fred Taylor WR: Colston, TO, H. Ward, Breaston, Bryant, Branch He's made 2 offers. The first is Lynch for Colston, straight up. The second is Colston and SJax for Lynch and Marshall. Any thoughts? Do either of these 2 deals make sense?

    Trade help

In a 10-team PPR league starting 2 RB, 2 WR and a WR/RB, I've been offered Colston for Lynch. My team: RB: Portis, Lynch, Chris Johnson, Jamal Lewis, McGahee, Buckhalter WR: Brandon Marshall, Welker, Cotchery, Bowe, Mason Other team: RB: Jackson, Thomas Jones, Deuce, DMAC, Fred Taylor WR: Colston, TO, Hines Ward, Antonio Bryant, Branch, Breaston I think this looks like a nice trade for me, but I could use any thoughts you might have. Thanks one and all.

    Trade Offer

Well, from what's being reported now, McGahee is going to play on Sunday, so he won't miss any games. Until there's definitive word that he's going to be out for an extended period AND Rice plays like a stud, no sane owner is going to give you Cotchery for him. That's why I say wait a bit. If Rice is as good as you (and I) think he is, wait for a real injury THEN you make your move. Hit the other guy while he's desperate.

    Trade offer to me

As far as I'm concerned, Ricky and Perry cancel each other out. Ricky may be questionable, but Perry's an injury waiting to happen. That means, in my mind, you're trading TJ for Ocho. I'd make that trade every day of the week. Please help me: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=321776

    Trade Offer

Don't do it. I've got Rice in my league, and I'm just waiting for McGahee to get hurt and his owner to come crawling to me. There's no way he'd accept the Cotchery deal (you're asking for WAY too much).

    MJD or Clinton Portis?

I agree with most of those above: you gotta go with Portis. The Giants defense is good, but not as great this year as people think, particularly against the run. Portis will be the focus of this offense, particularly today. I see a couple catches out of the backfield, over 120 total yards, and a score. Please give me your opinion: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=321776

    Yet another trade help question

All, I'm in a 10-team, PPR league and am looking to strengthen the team a bit. Here's the lineup. (QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1 WR/RB, TE, DST, K) QB: Favre RB: C. Portis, M. Lynch, J. Lewis, C. Johnson, R. Mendenhall, R. Rice WR: Marshall, Welker, Cotchery, Bowe, Mason, Porter, Branch TE: Daniels DST: Dallas K: Bironas Another team in my league is in dire need of RBs, which I have a pretty good stock of. His team: QB: Brady, Eli RB: Brown, Julius Jones, Kenny Watson, Deuce, Norwood WR: Housh, Ocho Cinco, Galloway, Stallworth, Kevin Walter TE: Clark, Zach Miller DST: San Diego K: Folk, Reed (don't ask why) My goal would be to get either Housh or Ocho, and I'd prefer to deal Lewis. What would be a fair deal? Thanks for your help.

    playoffs up for grabs

Bush definitely, especially in PPR. From what I've seen, his shin is fine. As for the other, I'd go with Fargas. He's more of a sure thing than Kolby. MJD is your least-attractive option. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=304188

Need help picking 1 RB this week, please help

You gotta go with Graham. Chatman's hurting and Kitna's gonna just rip the MIN secondary to shreds. Yeah, KJ'll get some catches, but he's more likely to stay in for pass protection. It's not like Kitna's short of targets. Please see mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=304188

    RB Help

Very tough call. I have Gore myself, and I'm starting him just because of last week. I think you should too. As for the other slot, I'm going to go with Bush, even if it's not PPR. I think KC will be behind by quite a bit by halftime, forcing them to throw the ball and limiting Smith's touches. KJ has just been too unreliable and Kitna's going to be throwing the ball all day. Thanks for your help with mine.
