Apollyon 0 Posted October 6, 2006 Here's my current roster: QB: T. Brady D. Bledsoe RB: W. Parker D. Rhodes R. Bush K. Barlow WR: San. Moss Re. Williams D. Bennett R. Brown TE: J. Witten K: J. Careny DST: Colts I'm planning at this point on Brady at QB, Parker/Rhodes at RB, and Moss/Williams at WR. I'm wondering if I shouldn't start Reggie Brown instead though. Also, I have a current trade proposal to get McNabb and Burress in exchange for Brady/Bush/Bennett/Toomer. It thins out my roster a bit, but McNabb is putting up great numbers and Plax would give me a better #1 WR. Thoughts? Leave a link and I'll weigh in on your roster questions. Edit: Just realized I wasn't clear...my other WR is Reggie Williams, not Roy Williams.
touchdowntwitaker 2 Posted October 6, 2006 i like your trade proposal, but i dont think they would go for it unless they are new to this..two studs for brady, bush (who is ok), and bench players.. i think you stick with your studs.. r.williams will be focal with m.jones out..im an eagles fan and while reggie is solid, donnie spreads and you can never guarantee anyones stats except westy and him.. i think it will be lj and hank baskett this game.. ON the trade: I love McNabb's numbers, but against NYG/Dal/WA I don't look for huge numbers -- and he has most of those games left. Also, I think Plax is far from a sure thing. I'd stick with Bennett and Toomer, knowing that in the case of Bennett, they always play from behind. ON the lineup: I think you've got the right idea: I'd stick with your starters. I love most of your matchups this weekend. pleae: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=241464

wave150 0 Posted October 6, 2006 thanks for mine- i agree with your lineup and would stick with those guys i think this trade is close, but i wouldn't do it. brady is solid and will only get better as the season progresses and the offense clicks and settles. i think mcnabb has a tough schedule and not sure what happens when/if westy stays out for longer period. burress does you no good behind moss/williams and you could use bush for RB depth
booya 0 Posted October 6, 2006 I think your dead on with your lineup dont make any changes. As for the trade proposal I think Mcnabbs numbers are a little inflated hes played Houston, San Fran, and Green Bay not the most intimidating Defenses in the league. Brady on the other hand look at his week 10 and on matchups hes got Jets, GB Detroit Miami and Houston which are locks for 3 Tds, stick with Brady http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=241482
lanastussy 0 Posted October 6, 2006 I like your line-up for this week. I think you are starting all the right players. Regarding the trade, I think you should stick with what you have. I also agree with Booya and think that the numbers for McNabb have been inflated because of the teams he has played. I am not sure if he will keep putting up those numbers and Brady will only get better. thanks for answering mine.
Byars41 0 Posted October 6, 2006 Here's my current roster: QB: T. Brady D. Bledsoe RB: W. Parker D. Rhodes R. Bush K. Barlow WR: San. Moss R. Williams D. Bennett R. Brown TE: J. Witten K: J. Go Santana and Roy. leave Reggie Brown on the bench. I agree with most about McNabb having inflated #'s because of the teams he played. but keep in mind, the Eagles will throw a ton so McNbb will still be solid all year. Brady on the otherhand may be handing off alot more with that Maroney and Dillon combo. that said, i don't know that the deal is worth it. Plax is better than Toomer/Bennett but he's always a head case and disappears for long stretches. he's no stud by any means. and even though Bush hasn't done much i think you have to hold onto him because your RB depth isn't that strong. if you are going to deal Bush you should wait for him to have a good game and deal him when his value goes up. even then, you'd need an RB back. i don't think you can afford to trade an RB without getting one back. so i'd say NO on the deal. Apollyon 0 Posted October 6, 2006 Go Santana and Roy. leave Reggie Brown on the bench. Actually, that's Reggie Williams, not Roy.
UW72 0 Posted October 6, 2006 Thanks for answering mine. with regard to the trade: I wouldn't do it, Brady will have some good matchups in the next weeks and McNabb has played against some very weak Defenses. Toomer and Bennet will get their plays and Burres is not the most reliable guy in the league. with regard to your lineup for this week: I like it, do not change anything. jpen74 0 Posted October 6, 2006 I'd stick w/ your thought on the WR. I wuldn't do the trade. Seems like Mcnabb will come back to Earth and schedule stiffens
