philssteelers200 0 Posted October 18, 2006 PPR League: He offered Gore and Galloway for Jordan and Wayne.... My team (5-1): QB M. Bulger WR D. Jackson WR R. Wayne WR E. Kennison RB R. Brown RB L. Jordan TE J. Wiggins W/T J. Stevens W/R T. Williamson BN J. Norwood BN J. Lewis BN T. Heap BN D. Bennett BN T. Green K S. Graham DEF Jacksonville BN New York His team: (4-2) J. Kitna WR J. Galloway WR Br. Johnson WR M. Harrison RB F. Taylor RB M. Jones-Drew TE A. Gates W/T B. Edwards W/R K. Barlow BN D. Bledsoe BN J. Horn BN S. Jackson BN F. Gore BN R. Grossman BN T. Taylor K J. Scobee DEF San Diego I originally offered Wayne and Jordan for Jackson and Galloway, he changed Jackson for Gore. I like it, I think, except it would leave me one short for this week. Hoping to snag E. Parker off WW for J. Stevens. What do you think? Another counter? Leave post
Gatorclan3 0 Posted October 18, 2006 Take it and RUN!!! Gore is a HUGE upgrade over Jordan. Wayne has to fight with Harrison for TD's and Galloway has no one to compete with. DO IT
ramblin'wreck 0 Posted October 18, 2006 Take it. As an owner of Jordan, I am desparate to move him. If I can get Gore in return, I would jump in a heartbeat. Here's mine.. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=245029
djrockstar 0 Posted October 18, 2006 This is tricky. I don't think the team necessarily makes your team better, just adjusts who you think will have a better rest of the season. The math looks like this to me ... Galloway<Wayne Gore>>Jordan So I think you'd have the slight edge there. My only issues are 1) Are we sure Gore is durable for an entire season? and 2) Now that Fargas is injured can we expect a little more from Jordan? Thanks for answering mine. Candygram4Mongo 8 Posted October 18, 2006 It means a downgrade at WR for you, but you have some depth there. Huge step up at RB for you, filling a need. Do it. see mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=245165
ruptured groin 0 Posted October 18, 2006 Thanks for mine... This seems like a good deal. you need the upgrade at RB and I think Galloway will have a better second half than first.
bryce_paradyce 0 Posted October 18, 2006 I like it, as long as you will be comfortable with your starting WRs.
mcstl25 0 Posted October 18, 2006 I like it, as long as you will be comfortable with your starting WRs. Jordan is a mess, get rid of him while you can!
Super Monster Raiders 0 Posted October 18, 2006 I like jordan and wayne, both still young and play to win...
mambokings 0 Posted October 18, 2006 Wayne is a stud, and Jordan has a nice schedule late in the season. When Aaron Brooks returns Jordan will be even better. I'd hold tight, keeping the superior WR and waiting it out on Lamont as he can only get better.
philssteelers200 0 Posted October 18, 2006 Still not completely convinced, especially after the last two posts. Gore does have injury concerns. Does it make any difference it's a keeper league, we will keep up to four players for next year. (First year of the keeper league, likely increase to six or eight in the next couple of years) Thanks
