Do I roll with it or work to upgrade?

Recommended Posts

Here is my current roster with my planned starters this weekend in bold

QB: Brady, Bledsoe

RB: W. Parker, D. Rhodes, R. Bush, W. Lundy

WR: Reggie Brown, Santana Moss, Reggie Williams, Amani Toomer, Bryant Johnson

TE: Witten

K: Carney (on bye, need to replace)

DST: Colts

The guy I play this week is the highest scorer in the league and has the following currently as his lineup for this weekend:

McNabb, J. Jones, Portis, Burress, K. Johnson, LJ Smith, Scobee, ChargersDST

I'm still tied for the league lead at 5-1, but also have the third lowest scoring total in the league (the other two are dead last in their divisions at 1-5)

So, I have a few questions:

1. Who do I drop to pick up another kicker? Hanson has been solid for me all year and I doubt he'd last on the waiver wire. Hanson is my next best alternative this week.

2. Do I gamble on Williams @ HOU instead of Moss, or Bryant Johnson @OAK if Fitz is still out?

3. I've gotten to this point by playing matchups and with a little waiver wire magic. Do I continue to work it this way with a solid but unspectacular roster, or do I look to work some trades for one or two bigger players, possibly ones on bye which may guarantee I lose this week?

Thanks in advance. Leave your links and I will reply to every one this evening.

Is Scobee the kicker for the Jags out there?? If so get him, dump Lundy... You really don't have alot to offer in a trade (sorry don't mean to be mean) try and package a deal of Reggie Williams and Rhodes for a 2nd tier RB like D.Foster or K.Jones.

Good Luck

I actually offered exactly that for Jones and was turned down (which was puzzling because the guy really needs WRs)

1. Drop Lundy. He's worthless.

2. No. Start Moss. You sit him and he'll explode.

3. You don't have a great deal to trade. I'd see if there was any interest in Bush, and Bledsoe is also a candidate to trade.
