Killer B's 0 Posted October 19, 2006 See my roster below.... Guy in my league that needs more depth is offering me Tatum Bell and M. Muhammad for Willie Parker and M. Colston. Considering my depth...should I do it? My reasoning is Bell is going to explode, and in the last 3 weeks of the season, Bell has weak matchups, whereas Willie has Bengals, Ravens, etc. Could help me in the playoffs. What do you think? thesaint78 0 Posted October 19, 2006 Bell and Parker will probably have about the same production but like you said Bell's matchups are more favorable, I would do it you may lose a little at receiver but if you have a few more good receivers I would do it. adanley 1 Posted October 19, 2006 I wouldn't do this trade. Parker is solid. You have three good RB's too. Therefore, play your RB's depending on matchups.
irish2007 0 Posted October 19, 2006 i wouldnt do that trade either. i think fwp is better than tatum and that whole denver offense is having trouble finding its rhythm--can anybody say cutler? colston will still be brees' no 1 man at wr. horn had one good game and i dont think he'll have another for awhile. muhammad sux right now and is playing second fiddle to berrian. ziggyschiefs 0 Posted October 19, 2006 i probably wouldn't do it. i like your team and colston is a great addition esp. if you can play him at TE
Dan6 0 Posted October 19, 2006 You have so much depth at running back, I guess the trade is a pretty lateral move. Cant you use some of that depth to boost some other position?
Matt Foley 0 Posted October 19, 2006 I'm kind of partial to both Parker and Colston, as both of them are on my team. Willie seems to do well no matter who he's up against (see San Diego), so I wouldn't put a lot of weight on the matchup angle. Colston is a very valuable guy to have on your team, especially if you're in a Yahoo league where you can play him at either WR or TE. If that's the case, IMO he'd be more valuable to you vs. Muhammad. In summary, I'd pass on that trade if I were you.
Apu Nahasapeemapetilon 0 Posted October 19, 2006 I'd pass. You look pretty solid. Why play with fire? Mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=245717
Bin Baker 0 Posted October 19, 2006 If I was you I would stay put..Your team is good the way it is. Your looking at the last three weeks of the season, but you still have to play the games before it, and if you lose now what good is the last three weeks. STAY PUT!! THANKS FOR ANSWERING MINE
tuscaloosatornadoes 0 Posted October 19, 2006 I like those playoff matchups. Willie might start losing red zone carries to Davenport as well. Colston's production might slow down if Joe Horn is "back". If it is a keeper league I keep FWP though as the Denver situation is never settled.
lilryxry 0 Posted October 19, 2006 i say do it because of the reasons that you have depth ..so go for it! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=245719
