napa joe 0 Posted October 21, 2006 My team- seasonal league: QB Leinart, Pennington RB- Tiki, Leon Washington, Noah Herron, Reggie Bush WR- Coles, Wayne, Jennings, Moose Mohamed Scoring: 1 pt for 10 rec/ rush yds. 1 pt 25 passing yds 6 pt TDs, -2 for fumbls/ INT no pts per recpt. no points for Reggie's 65 yd punt return. We're 1-5, so I need some offensive TDs. looking ahead to wk 9 when Penny and Leinart are on Bye. Jake goes against Steelers @ Heins Field. Farve is on road @ Buffalo. Question is whether Jordan downside is worth it. Always think Bush's next game will be breakout and I'll be kicking myself. What do you think? Appreciate the help. Leave link. napa joe 0 Posted October 21, 2006 Plummer sucks and Bush is a back-up. Don't do it!!!!!!! Maybe is wasn't clear. I give up Plummer and Bush- get Farve and L Jordan.
Trancedynasty 0 Posted October 21, 2006 I would pull the trigger on this trade, asap. Lamont Jordan is always involved in the raider offense, if they have one. Reggie bush is highly prized IF your league gives points for receptions or kick-off, and since yours does not, i would trade him. QBs are usually the highest points contributor in many leagues, and lets face it, Farve > Plummer. thx for help /w mine.
FantasyPhenom 0 Posted October 21, 2006 Maybe is wasn't clear. I give up Plummer and Bush- get Farve and L Jordan.I would do it. With favre the rest of the year you'll know they will throw the ball alot unlike plummer because shanny wants minimize mistakes so he doesnt let plummer air it out at all.Jordan has been a bust so far, but being the starter does help and I would think the raiders would get a little better when brooks gets back which will help Jordans #'s. Bush wont see much running but the rec really help him out. He's been lucky so far this year with the return td or he's be there with the likes of jordans value. nosferatu9368 0 Posted October 21, 2006 I'd do this one quick before the other team changes there mind. Plummer is worthless this year. Favre is always playing from behind or in a high scoring game. Jordan is still pretty good and if/when Brooks gets back they should start scoring a little more. Good Luck Here's Mine http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=246461 Peace... vinniedasquid 0 Posted October 21, 2006 I think obviously Favre is an improvement over Plummer this year and most any year from a fantasy standpoint, but you know this, so the question is Jordan vs. Bush, which is a toughy. You don't get return yards or ppr so that takes away a lot of Bush's upside since he's the clear #2 in NO this year. I'd like to think that Jordan's #s will improve when Brooks retruns, but the reality is that his numbers have been better with Walters in. I still don't think that Bush has adjusted to the speed of the NFL yet and don't know if he will this year. Jordan's starting to get more touches. I'm leaning towards telling you to take this deal although I hate telling anyone to take a Raider this year. Bush should end up to be a great back, just not this year. Good luck! sb2232 0 Posted October 21, 2006 I agree. Favre is an obvious upgrade over Plummer so it comes down to Bush vs. Jordan. I have Jordan on my squad and I'm obviously not thrilled with his production. However, he is the featured back and guaranteed to get touches. Bush is not, and in a league that does not count his return TD's then his value dips even more. I say you have to make this deal. jpen74 0 Posted October 21, 2006 Pull the trigger, farve is better than plummer. Jordan is a number one, bush is a back up.

Bush is killer in PPR leagues, but Jordan is more likely to punch in a short yardage TD (if the O can make it that far, that is). Plus, on paper, the Raiders have an easier schedule and Jordan isn't splitting carries.
elboobster 0 Posted October 22, 2006 I like your prior trade offer of Delhomme and Jordan better. thanks for mine
