sb2232 0 Posted October 21, 2006 Okay, you can see my roster below. I am doing well, 5-1 in a 10 team league but I am running into problems for this week and the next few covering bye weeks. I am currently without a tight end for the week and not 100% certain what to do. Available TE's on the WW are McMicheal, Cooley, Watson to name a few. The position I have the most depth at is QB, but I am not certain Leftwich (unless the ankle injury turns out to be serious) or Carr is really droppable. I have been dangling some 2 for 1 deals out this week to shore up some positions and open a roster spot with no luck. Obviously I could drop a kicker, but Wilkins has been solid, and Vanderjagt is covering my bye this week as well. And I mentioned IDPs in my sig; I am carrying the minimum amount necessary cover starting positions. Do I drop the potentially injured Leftwich to pick up a TE to cover the bye, knowing I may lose him on the WW in the upcoming week? Or should I just go without a TE this week and hope for the best? Or is there a better roster move that I am not seeing? Of course, I will be happy to help all that respond.

JediMaster 20 Posted October 21, 2006 For this week drop either Lefty or Carr and grab McMichael. Then next week drop Vandy if you need an extra spot. HTH Thanks For Mine
HIW 0 Posted October 21, 2006 Man, you've got THREE Qb's on your roster! With you having Bulger, I would not hesitate to drop LEFTY or CARR. If you like Lefty, drop CARR....then, pick him back up next week. If Carr is not available...pick up GERRARD to backup LEFTY - if available. as for which te to pick up...um, tough one. McMike is good but QB situation in Miami stinks. Cooley is good but inconstent of late. Go with McMike and hope for the best. Good luck and thanks for answering mine. my hott bengals 0 Posted October 21, 2006 i would get rid of carr and grab cooley....i think he has a better chance to put points on the board this week than mcmichael...i dont like that QB situation in miami. heres mine: http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=246515
vinniedasquid 0 Posted October 21, 2006 I have to agree with everyone else. If you only start one QB a week, there's no harm in dropping one of them. Carr is playing some great ball and Leftwich has been pretty solid from a fantasy standpoint, so keep whoever you have the most manlove for and definitely pick up McMichael. Miami's offense has done the unthinkable: improve under Joey Harrington. McMichael has been getting a ton of looks with Joey in, and he's putting up some points. I don't see that stopping in the immediate future. Good luck and thanks for your help with mine
potsie03 0 Posted October 21, 2006 I would have to agree with the majority on this one. I would drop a QB and pick up a TE. McMichael definately has the best chance at producing the best stats for you this week. He is projected at #2 for all TE's in the Projected stats section. Personally I am a Carr fan and would drop Leftwich, but I agree if you drop Carr you could him back up next week or pick up Garrard if someone else snags Carr. http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=246516
Crackhead Bob 0 Posted October 21, 2006 I think you got your answer. Drop the QB. Personally I'd drop Lefty and pick up McMichael. Poll: Pick a RB
D~Loot 0 Posted October 21, 2006 I would drop Lefty and pick up McMichael. Leftwich will be a game time decision and you don't want to be caught with your pants down. I would start Bulger for the rest of the season after his bye. He's a stud and Carr will need to throw the ball a lot to keep in the game. Lefty wouldn't be throwing that much anyway. GOOD LUCK! http://www.fftodayforums.com/forum/index.p...howtopic=246511
napa joe 0 Posted October 21, 2006 I agree with the majority here. Drop leftwich and pick up McMichael. Thanks for mine!
